Great functionality in an inexpensive tool
This little work table is a great value. If you take care and don't horse it, it should be great for small projects. I bought a drill stand to use with it, and it didn't quite line up to attach it with 4 bolts. I got 3 to line up, which should be enough. Not sure whether that's the fault of the table or the press. I lubricated the desk augers to reduce wear and friction. One problem was that one of the tapped holes on a project clamp did not match the bolts supplied. I had to retap the hole. But otherwise, for the price, I give it 5 stars. Hopefully it holds up.

Nice little mill table
Good little table, seems well made.

Great table.
This is a great hobby level milling table (model 6350/dual rail movement). Table is very well built. All metal castings were cleanly finished/smoothed. The main table is extruded aluminum and heavy duty. The x/y axis screws turn smoothly. Nearly all components are metal. The X axis screw has just a slight amount of slop (maybe 5 or 6 thousandths). The Y axis screw is tight (no slop). This table surpassed what my expectations were. Very happy with my purchase.

You get what you pay for
Pros: Packaged well Good finish Pretty tight sliders Very inexpensive Cons: Lots of slop in the slide screws Less than great handles on knobs Clamps are kinda shoddy Plate flexes under even mold loads Overall: This does exactly what I had hoped it would do. That being said, if you're a prcision machinist, steer clear from this as it is pretty sloppy. If you're like me and just want to move items along either axis in a drill press, this will do the trick at the right price. I'm neither impressed nor disappointed. It os exactly what I thought it would be.

Multi-function Worktable
I bought this product as a Multi-Function Worktable - not as a Milling Machine. I'm drilling holes in 90 pieces of bamboo strips to construct BuckyBall models. You might recognize a BuckyBall as a soccer ball - football to some. I need precise center to center holes so that I may pin and glue the bamboo pieces together. I made a fixture that is bolted to the Milling Table of my mini-drill press. I stack the bamboo 8 high and drill an end hole. I don't move the table until I've drilled until the cows come home. When I'm ready for the other end hole, I move the table. I pin the 8 pieces with a stainless 16-gauge wire nail and drop into the first end hole that was created in my fixture with the first time I drilled down. As long as I work off of the left the end hole, the right one will be the same for all 90 pieces. I don't plan on milling anything. I could just slide my fixture on the drill press stand and achieve the same precision - but what's the fun in that? I know that working with this milling table will have other advantages. Whoops. It does. I forgot. I start with 24" bamboo strips that will be cut to 90 mm. After drilling the end hole, I have a miter saw slot that lets me cut to length - for the most part. After gluing, the end will be cut, anyway, so the precision lies in the center to center hole distance of 70 mm. I've drilled, cut, re-positioned the table, and drilled the other end - to the tune of 450 pieces. I can find no fault for what I needed this "drill press attachment" to accomplish - playing with my balls. I really like my balls. They will be personalized and given to some special people who appreciate my balls and know how much pleasure I take in making them. The attached picture shows "proof of concept" with my little balls and a GIANT ball that is waiting for me to return and massage it into place.

It does what its supposed to do and costs less than 2 pizzas
I bought the $60.00 unit which I believe is made completely different than the $30.00 model which I think is confusing people into thinking they are all junk..Let me start by saying the larger model I bought is not real far away from the "kinda junkyish" label but I would not label it as "junk because it's only $60.00,I paid $80.00 for my 29mm Snap On combination wrench and that was 20 years ago so I'm a pretty good judge of amount of money spent versus usefulness and also that it makes something possible that would have otherwise been impossible without it..Time is money and It immediately paid for itself on my first project as I've been doing things freehand lately and you really just can't make perfectly straight and consistent line by hand (or at least I can't) The biggest flaw is the incredible amount of free play in the y axis but if you just remember it's a minor inconvenience and allow for it the problem is solved,I read about the slop so I was already prepared to deal with it. I also wanted to mount mine on a Dremel work station and it does fit on the base of the Dremel but it didn't leave much room underneath so I am mounting the table back to back directly behind the Dremel work station, the Dremel head spins 360° on the pipe its attached to so it's a simple matter of rotating the head 180° to the table. The two tools butt up together as the picture I included shows so you may have to mount your work to compensate for a small loss of the y axis or I believe if you mount it at an angle to the Dremel it sit further towards the center of the cutter..I will mostly use mine for project boxes and light hobby work and realize the difference between this one and one's that are the same size but weigh 60 pounds.. I know no professional machinist would buy one of these because they wouldn't be caught dead with one of these but it seems they are being used way beyond their capacity and likely have never been tightened up and adjusted which isn't the tools fault..
