No cover, not sure of potato eye remover, it does peel everything with ease, it is the best one I have used.

I don’t know about the bpa, but it’s a great peeler and the plastic doesn’t really contact the food. I don’t put it in the dishwasher because it can easily be rinsed under the faucet.

Good quality peeler

This is a very nice peeler. Comfortable to use and very sharp (so be careful of your fingers !!).The blade swivels so that peeling is easy .I would definitely recommend this product.
