I purchased this phone car mount in 2019 and used the suction cup to attach it to my dashboard. I live in Southern California and the inside of my car gets HOT. The suction cup did melt a little soon after installation, but the suction stayed strong and it continued to do a great job of keeping my phone somewhere easy to see. The mount is very adjustable so you can position your phone exactly as you'd like, and it's easy to change up as needed. For the past six years this mount has served me well. This summer the heat took its final toll on the car mount and it stopped suctioning to my dashboard. Six years was a pretty good run, and I was happy to purchase another from the same company. But the rest of the parts were still in fine working condition and I hate being wasteful so I contacted Vicseed to see if I could purchase just the piece with the silicon suction cup. They responded right away that yes, I could, but then went a step further and offered to replace the part for free. That kind of customer service is pretty rare these days. True to their word, they sent out a replacement part and my phone mount is once again happily installed on my dashboard. I will be a loyal customer of theirs for all of my phone mount needs from now on!

I have a Chevy Equinox, 2017. Yes, I have Bluetooth and GPS in my car, but I tend not to use those and just use my phone. Thus, I purchased this. The good things about this are that there are color options, it is adjustable and will hold the phone tightly. I have an android and with the adjustable side panels, it will accommodate most phones (unless it is in some sort of case, then that might not work). It has an opening in the bottom so that if you need to charge your phone, the cord will drop through. It also came with the option to mount it to the car or attach it to the vents. Some assembly was required, and I had no problem doing that. I even watched the video that was shared to ensure I did it right and it was just as easy to do as shown. As for the cons of this little thing, I didn’t want to mount it to my car. I wanted to be able to remove it, so I attached it to my vent. There are various knobs to tighten and loosen as needed. I need to keep it very tight or this will jostle around. Once it is attached you cannot adjust it as you are driving. So perhaps drive around the block and make sure it is set up to your liking. Another thing is that my car is small, and I would prefer to have it turned more towards me but, due to space issues, I can’t have it that way. And finally, because it is on my vent, it does block the air (hot or cold) coming out of that vent. Overall, this works and per the reviews of this one and other products out there, I chose this one. I’m glad I did. If you can overlook a few of these minor issues, like me, I have found it was worth the purchase.
