Is this grease a synthetic based?

75-85% hydrogenated polyalphaolefins, with CAS number 68037-01-415-25% mineral oil with CAS number 8042-47-51-5% antioxidant with CAS number 41484-35-9, which has no pretty name, but is chemically known as 3,5-Bis(1,1-dimethylethyl)-4-hydroxybenzenepropanoic acid thiodi-2,1-ethanediyl ester1-5% polysilane as a byproduct of 68611-44-9 - I think this is an ester of carbon & silicon based oils.1-5% Polyether polyol CAS 25322-69-41-5% Poly(tetrafluoroethylene) CAS 9002-84-0 (aka, Teflon)0.1-1.0% Proprietary additiveThe MSDS is readily available on the internet, searching for "MSDS and "82333"

Does this have the same ingredients as the superlube in the 3oz tube?

YES, iT IS THE SAME AS THE SMALLER TUBES

Can this grease be used on weatherstripping?

Hello, First, I do not know if it will do whatever it is you want it to on weatherstripping. I will, however, make some comments. This is a synthetic grease, therefor doesn't contain petroleum, a significant advantage, especially if there is rubber in the weatherstripping. Some information from the can: "Non-toxic, clean, and clear." "Will not harm rubber, plastic, leather, wood, or paint." It has replaced Lubriplate for me, although Lubriplate served me very well for many, many years. You might look up "303 Protectant" on the web. It works well on plastics, among other things. Many RV'er's use it to keep their fibreglass vehicle bodies fresh. I've used it for years on the weatherstripping, tires, and dash, bumpers, and other plastics on my automobiles. Information is on their website. There are some great 'modern' lubricants that do not use the questionable ingredients that were in such products years ago.
