Great scanner, very happy with first use
After doing some research on the various scanners out there (not all do SRS codes for example) I went for this one. I'm very happy with my first go with it. The airbag light came on and stayed on in my Mitsubishi Colt and I checked over everything I could but found out later that even with the fault fixed the light will not go out until the code is cleared. The scanner was perfect - auto detected the make/model of the car, found the fault, cleared the code and the light now works as normal (on for 10 or so seconds when starting up the car then goes out). Very happy to be able to do this myself instead of paying a garage to do it. The package itself is very good - I appreciate that it comes with a carry pouch which keeps everything (scanner and cables) together. I haven't scratched the surface of what the scanner can do yet (live data etc.) but the main thing I wanted it to do right now was done easily and quickly. Only downside to the experience is that the Autel website is a little clunky when it comes to getting registered for updates but with a bit of patience it went through OK.

Does the job perfectly well
Got an engine management light come on (MIL) in my Fiat Tipo, so wanted to investigate what it was - you can't always trust a garage not to make up a fault. Out of the vast selection of these units available, I opted for this one. It arrived in a nice zippy pouch with a cable to connect to the car - looks similar to a Scart cable. Plugged it in and selected the correct make and model. Worth remembering that the software running in the car is likely to be older than the year the car was manufactured. The unit came pre-installed with info up to 2017, you need to register the unit to download the latest years. For me the year 2016 was all I needed for the Tipo. It read the fault and then have me the option to clear it. I tried this, which worked, but the fault returned a few days later. However, I now know what the fault is and which part needs replacing, which is all I wanted to know. Did the job great.

Good scanner
Good scanner for the price. Yurned off the airbag fault, which appeared to be a low voltage issue from the battery being left to go flat.

Well worth the extra money.
Purchased this to help me re-set my Air Bag warning light after removing the passenger side bag in order to replace the window regulator. Not the cheapest on the market but not the dearest either. Arrived earlier than expected, well packaged and protected. Manual and Q and A sheet included, instructions can be a bit confusing but if you follow a logical path all works well, have not tried the update yet but have installed the software using the disc supplied. All lights out now, easy to use and had a play around with it while it was connected up, all in all a worthwhile piece of kit that will save you trotting of to the dealers and having to pay out each time. Also, much better than the usual £20-30 ones you find on Amazon. They use the same generic chip and won't do any of the other advanced features that this will.

Dodgy reliability
I bought this product for the future issues with my car. U asked Autel.com about the difference between this and ap200 (the Bluetooth model) They told me to contact the local dealer . I did, and this was the response: Unfortunately, Autel UK do not sell the products you have mentioned in your email. We are geared towards the professional market and because of this, our lowest cost tool is the MX900c at £499 plus vat Autel store is a Chinese website selling unauthorised products, nothing brought oon this website is covered by UK warranty or support. Som these cheaper Autel products sound sketchy to me. I will be returning it.

Engine (obd), ABS and airbag. Not compatible with every vehicle though!
Good, low cost enhanced fault code reader for looking at ABS, airbag and OBD codes on my Mitsubishi. Cheaper readers only tend to show engine codes, whereas this one was perfect for diagnosing a failed ABS wheel speed sensor (my old one didn't have this capability). Also switched off the engine MIL light, after I'd induced a stored fault by disconnecting a sensor. Note : Device is not universal : this does not want to connect to X-type Jaguars (friends car) for example. Check the Autel website for compatibility before you buy!

Better options out there
If you want to spend £100+ on a machine that a £50 can do then this is the one for you. For this money you can get better ones. You can’t even reset the service lights?? Also you need to update the unit before you can use on a lot of jap vehicles. Get a better model for the same money with more features. Or buy a cheaper one with the same features.

Nice bit of kit.
After 8 years of Land Rover main dealers and independent specialists telling me that my Freelander 2 had no recorded faults, despite my getting an intermittent misfire/stall when pulling away; last such diagnosis was just 3 weeks ago and cost me another £66! I plug this device in and within a couple of minutes a whole host of faults appear relating to the clutch pedal switch and the Immobiliser to power-train module. I have yet to determine if these are indeed the faults causing the misfire/stall but just goes to show I should have bought such a tool long ago. Very easy and intuitive to use. Very pleased indeed!
