Easy to install and is really bright.
Gotta love led lights, this thing lights up the whole back of the boat and it folds far enough out of the way that the boat cover doesn't lean on it.

Bright and works great!
This thing is freakin bright! I did a little modification and attached it to the old stainless pole/mount that was already on the boat, and have 0 complaints! Can see it for a long way, it's nice knowing someone aint gonna plow me over since I don't move to quick in my old boat :)

Not that there’s anything wrong with it but it is quite thin on the base worried it will crack but also not worried about it cause it works good and is bright with a nice lens so it’s a 5 star for the price but it’s not top of the line

Brought it, like it!
So I ordered this 4” fixed mount light that is actually 5” but no big deal. I bought my skiff in 1992 and have had 3 perko 4” lights on it all worked fine but after a while the the clear lens that twisted in would break. They cost a lot of cash and you could not by the lens separate. So I received this light and really like it. Upon inspection first off the plastic housing is strong, the wires are adequate in length and diameter and are marine grade and they tinned the end of them which shows attention to detail! I then checked the buttons that the bulb contacts and they look good and they actually shrink tubed the wires there, (impressive) to keep moisture out. I don’t know about the bulb it seems to be hit or miss with led lights so that’s life. Now the lens it screws in with fine threads and has an oring to seal it again attention to detail. The plastic that holds the bulb base is very thick it seems to be fine, my perkos had plastic also. So in conclusion if the materials they used are of good quality this light should do the job and the cost is totally reasonable. A piece of advice ALWAYS solder your wires and shrink tube them period if any exposure to water is possible and also i caulk all mating surfaces to keep water out it’s a must!
