Instead, I’ve been using them for over a year to keep all my keys together and to attach various items to my camera bag or backpack — and they’ve been absolutely fantastic for that purpose. These carabiners are made from high-grade aluminum, and you can really feel the quality. Despite being lightweight at just 27 grams each, they’re incredibly strong and rated at 12KN (about 1200 kg), which is far more than I’ll ever need for everyday use. They feel solid, sturdy, and very reliable. One thing I really appreciate is the smooth finish. There are no sharp edges anywhere, so they never snag on straps, fabric, or pockets. That’s a big plus when using them on camera gear and bags. The screw-gate locking mechanism works perfectly — easy to operate with one hand yet secure enough to prevent accidental opening. I wanted these carabiner clips for my two backpacks so that I can attach them to something when in a public space (for example a bench or table) by clipping two of the shoulder straps together around the leg of the bench or table. It's just to slow down an opportunist thief by adding just a little bit more security. These carabiner clips are the perfect size for the job, and I just leave them permanently attached at the base of one of the shoulder straps. The quality is fine for my needs, and they feel like they could handle much more. And they weren't hugely expensive - another plus point.

Bought these more of "just in case" items for when I'm out and about outside. They clip discreetly to the outside of my rucksack. They are very well made, and I'm sure they will be perfect for whatever use I need them for.

Testing their durability, I hung my hammock, my camping gear, and, for reasons that will forever remain unclear, a Savoy cabbage. The carabiners didn’t flinch. Very strong can hold a fair bit of weight. They are good quality for the price.

These carabiners feel pretty decent quality. Rated for 12kn so I won’t be using them for climbing but will be optimal for hanging my water bottle and shoes when backpacking. Will maybe try on a hammock to test weight stress on these carabiners. Happy with purchase so far.
