Great for working out knots
Works as intended. It was recommended by a physical therapist. As a hair stylist I get knots in my upper back that cause sharp pains along my shoulder blades. Put pressure with the cane on those spots and it relieved the pain

This is a game changer!
I love, Love, LOVE this! I saw it at physical therapy last week and learned it's a self-massager for scaps. It's a game changer for me. I've had 14 spinal fusions. The only part thatb isn't fused is my upper back just below my cervical spine. This device hits all the sore spots! No more rubbing my back against door frames to self-mssage. HIGHLY REOMMENDED!!!

Better than a tree or building corner
I purchased the Liba back and neck massager back in May, received the order two days later and snapped the two pieces together (which was not hard by the way), and used it to rub a kink out of my upper back. It did exactly what I hoped it would. I used it repeatedly and didn’t think much more about it until three months later when I received a note from Cindy from Liba asking me to post a review on Amazon to help her business. Well I admire a bold approach so I decided to give Cindy a boost and take the time to review the massager. So here goes – First let’s talk about convenience. This Liba back massager is much more convenient than the tree or one of several building edges I have used in the past to rub up against and work out a kink or knot in my back. Unlike my favorite tree or building edge, I can take the Liba Back massager with me where ever I go and have it available immediately. And unlike my favorite tree, I do not have to get on my toes or bend around at some odd angle to get to just the right spot. The Liba back massager can be aimed perfectly to the exact area of discomfort and pressed into the kink. One could also try using a tennis ball, golf ball, or other round object to lay on and roll around on top of to work out a kink, but this is nowhere near as easy as just placing the round end of the Liba massager on just the right spot to vigorously apply pressure. Another point to consider is that my favorite tree (being a larger tree) is very hard to move around and press into my back. I can rely only on gravity and whatever angle of leaning to generate a force on my back to get to the kink. With the Liba back massager, I can pull with as much or as little force as needed to press into my kink and I am only limited by my own admittedly average strength and limited pain tolerance. Those of you with more massive muscles and a higher pain tolerance will be able to really bear down on a kink much more than I can. And speaking of strength, this massager is made with an “I” beam design which should allow even the most jacked individuals to safely and repeatedly apply massive amounts of pressure to a knot in the back or other body part. Older model’s main shaft had a round shape and the new “I” beam design looks and feels much stronger while still allowing for some flexibility of the massager. The Liba massager is also much more “clothes friendly” than my tree or most buildings. The finish of the massager is what I would call a slightly rough matt finish. Great for gripping with a wet or sweaty hand and much less likely to snag or tear your clothing than a stucco’d wall or the rough bark on a tree. And finally, the Liba massager is much more adaptable to various body parts than any tree (including my favorite) or building has ever been. The massager is “S” shaped and can be placed in numerous positions to access pretty much any place on one’s body. It has multiple nodes to apply pressure with and many grip areas to allow just the right pressure to be applied to just the right spot. Overall, I can honestly say that this is much better and more versatile than any tree, equipment edge, stick, or building corner I have ever rubbed up against to relieve tension or rub out a knot in my back or other muscle. And the low cost, easy portability and pinpoint accuracy which allows this massager to reach a knot have made this my number one tool for relief from kinks and muscle knots.

Excellent for the price. Some limitations
Works well but wish it was slightly larger. Had a TheraCane before and the radius of the curve was noticeably larger making it easier to reach areas of the back. This one is more compact but it's roughly half the price of TheraCane so, overall, I'm satisfied with the value. Very good construction, very stiff material (which is what you want), assembles easily.

Back Massager
This massager is the best! It’s easy to use and gets all the hard to reach places. So happy to have a helpful tool to have my muscles feeling better.

Helps with pain
Great product, cheap and reaches place. You can’t even imagine on your back and neck..

Works well!
Really works well. Gets the spots that you can't reach and the pressure you apply yourself is impressive. Definitely comes in handy for a quick "spot rub" when needed.

There are better out there
First off, this product is quality construction, and if you were to pick it up, having never before used a similar massage tool, you would rave about it. I gather thousands of other Amazon users did just that ;-) There are a number of flaws with this product, as compared to other almost identical products, however, which makes it worth choosing another in my opinion. The #1 reason I don't recommend this product, is it does not offer nearly as effective a massage with a similar amount of effort as others, particularly if you are a larger person. (not petite) The first reason for this is that the "back" arms (2 out of 3 of the arms on this tool) are too short to be useful for anything but neck, arms or legs. But, remember, any larger arm would be just as effective for any of those targets. This leaves just the one large arm to work your back, the number one area you can't reach with any other tool to massage yourself. That one arm does not have a handle which you can use to control it when digging in the center/center of my back (I'm 5'10", 270#) If they had mounted the arm closest to that so that it curved in the opposite direction, and the apex of the bend was just a bit further down the handle, I could easily grab that and leverage with it, but instead I'm left to reach behind me to grab the tip of this, and try to use that without that twisting effecting my back muscles. Finally, with regard to the quality of massage, every "point" on this tool has the exact same diameter perfect sphere as it's cap.. so, you always have the same blunt ball to dig in to everything. Sometimes, however, you want a smaller diameter sphere, or even something that comes to a bit of a point so that you can dig it in through the surface tension and really hit an acupressure point in need. (Look for the goosehead ends on other products) For me, I would say the spheres are too large altogether.. I would rather all of them were smaller so I could apply more pressure to a given point. It is also worth noting, with regards to reliability, that this product comes as 2 pieces which clip together. The clip is really robust, and the entire product is made with a lot of strong dense feeling plastic, so it seems like it will generally have a pretty good life span.. but that is a potential point of failure, and you are very specifically stressing that joint by the nature of how you use the tool. Once it's secured, it's virtually impossible to compress that button, and separate the pieces again without help and a tool, so it doesn't really offer any features to the end user, other than the knowledge that your shipping needs harmed the planet a bit less. When I dig with this product (I'm a big guy, so I apply a lot of pressure), I feel the plastics only just starting to bend.. I would generally say the amount of bend puts it in the range of unlikely to break for quite a while, but time will answer that question. All in all, this could do the trick, and it's amazing if you've never used a curved arm self back massager.. but you'll be muscling it a lot more to get the same results (or doing strange yoga poses where you lay your body into it while doing a 1 armed plank), the pricing all seems comparable, and it will probably be more likely to break than single mold items.

A Great Fibromyalgia tool
I get Upper back Muscle spasms from neck injury. When pain flares I press carefully on tender sore spots in upper back and shoulders and have been gradually building up length of time doing it. I breathe in first and then exhale as I press on the spot . Provides nearly instant relief from strong pain. So grateful to find this.

Pain getting aggrevated
Instead of relieving pain I am suffering much more when ever I use this product. In manufacturer's manual it was clearly mentioned that the product can be returned back within 80days without assigning any reason. Contacted LiBa the manufacturer but they replied me to contact seller. Contacted seller too. They suggested me to contact Amazon. Amazon replied that it is not returnable item and hence can't help you. Though returnable within 80days period, I am unable to get it returned back to them.

Not quite a theracane
I don't know what it is about the Theracane, but this thing doesn't seem to work as well as that thing. It's still not a bad massager though, so 4 stars.
