Nice, well rounded blend for basic coffee + cream type drink / traditional espresso drinks. Bolder flavor than some other Lavazza medium roasts. Beans shy of dark; flavor is not smokey, but is bold and robust. Could even be thick. Branding claims deliver. Mild / minimal acidity. Better value than most offerings for typical American "medium-dark" roast preferences. On par with Gran Crema. Similar caffeine strength to related Lavazza blends. Cute package art.

This one quickly became a favorite for me. The flavor is rich and smooth, and it has that slightly chocolatey espresso-style profile that works really well in the morning. It is just a really dependable coffee overall.

This is our go to brand. We have several of the varieties Lavazza offers. It is a widely known European brand. We like this one because it is designed for milk drinks which is nice because we use half and half in our coffee. This coffee is frothy. It has a rich taste, color and aroma. It is not overly acidic. We start our day with a cup of this exceptional brew. It represents a good value for us because we only have one cup per day. It’s easy to use and very compatible to our taste buds.

Tried a couple other brands after buying my Philips 5500 espresso machine, but stuck with this after the first cup. It has a somewhat sweet, chocolate taste that I was looking for, with a nice crema. I've gone through 3 bags since August and I just ordered 5 more bags while it was on sale. One bag is going to a friend who loved it after trying it.

One of my favorite flavors and aroma. I am a Lavazza coffee drinker and has been for years. I find that the darker the roast the more I like the consistency and flavor. I always get the whole beans as my coffee maker grinds them in real time. Will stay true to Lavazza as long as they continue to produce this high quality coffee.

Reviews are all over the place about this coffee. I pulled a decent shot of espresso with these beans and it was pretty good. Has an awesome caffeine kick due to the robusta beans, good amount of crema and made a decent Caffe latte. I usually roast my own coffee and appreciate fresh coffee that is less than 3 weeks old. With that in mind this lavazza has an expiration date of 2 years and was shipped all the way from Italy so one can only expect so much quality from coffee roasted overseas. Negative reviews are interesting all you have to do is look at the bag and see what you're going to get. Crema e aroma intended use is for Cafe crema cappuccino and lattes. Lavazza offers so many different types of coffee for each brewery method so I don't see why people trash lavazza when frequently it operator error. What a great price on this coffee I appreciate that. I am blessed to own a rancilio grinder that enabled me to get the perfect grind and a Rancilio Silvia Pro X. Life is to short to drink crappy coffee.
