I knew we had a mice problem, I just didn't realize just how bad it was until I purchased these mouse traps! We've tried the live traps, the sticky pads, yeah we would catch some on occasion. Let me just tell you how MANY these caught in less than 24 hours. We set all of them & hand to God, between the 6 of them they caught 28 mice!!! And they continue to catch them daily. I will be purchasing more to set in other areas of the house like the basement etc. These are the BEST purchase I have ever made to catch mice. I've seen some reviews say that they are nothing more than feeding stations. This can't be further from the truth. You have to know how to bait them. The mice here like dog food. We feed Kibbles N Bits. What I do is take the soft meaty little steak peices & squeeze them down into the hole of the feeder. Rarely do I ever have to rebait, I just reset the trap after disposing of the mouse. I give this 5 stars, & would give a lot more if it were possible!

Impressive. I have already caught 3 mice (2 on 2nd day and 1 on 3rd day since using these traps. I have 3 traps having cheese as baits and the other 3 using peanut butter. The traps having peanut butter baits were the ones that caught/killed the 3 mice. And I was able to reuse them without efforts and that they were still working. And this is my honest and unbiased review based on my experience!

I was waiting to be disappointed but it did the job and quickly. My biggest concern was it would not kill instantly and the mouse would suffer longer than needed. My second concern was that it would not be strong enough to make a kill and the mice would escape and be pissed off 🤪 8 confirmed kills in the last several days. Haven’t had to refill the peanut butter yet.

Update: I had to remove a star because two of the traps stop working after two catches. So durability may be questionable. However the others are still working and I’ve caught 10 mice. Haven’t seen any more mice in over a week. Man this trap is brutal. So We been hearing mice around in the house, and I saw a couple run into the laundry room. I ordered these traps, and when I went to the bathroom I saw them run in. I did some research on ChatGPT and it said to use peanut butter. So I put some peanut butter in it and set the traps on both sides. Within less than an hour both traps went off and to my surprise it caught two mice. Looks like the mice died right away which is nice, no suffering. This clamp just closed shut right on their necks and there was no escape. It's very easy to setup, you open it and it locks open, once a mice steps on the plate around the bait holder, it closes shut quick and hard. There's a little section to add some bait, I used peanut butter because mice loves fat, or you can use a chocolate spread, they love sweets. The peanut butter worked great. I am not sure how long it took the mice to get clamped on because it did eat all the peanut butter before it died (at least it went with a full belly). No need to touch mice, you can grab the clamp by the end, open it up and the mice falls right out into the trash. I setup the traps again, so let's see if it catches more. I recommend if your sticky traps aren't doing anything.

Set three the first night, caught two mice. Easy to bait. Easy to set. The spring seemed a bit weak, but was enough to kill the mice. Put the other three in the pole barn. Have not checked those yet. The old snap traps were just feeding the mice. These are working much better.

So I bought these because they got good reviews and although I don’t like killing animals, I don’t want a mouse living in my kitchen, helping himself to my food and I saw one a couple of times it could’ve been more than one, but it wasn’t an infestation, so I bought these and some steel wool And I don’t know I mean they never caught him. I put peanut butter in there he happened to really like rice cakes he really liked the Apple Cinnamon Rice cakes. Anyway I eventually got tired of cleaning the droppings- I made sure there was no food on the counter. Nothing left out at all that all the cabinets had traps in them, and everything was closed and sealed in plastic and somehow that little guy was still helping himself every night. I would come downstairs and find droppings on the counter you know three maybe four not a lot that’s how they can say how many you have that one mouse can leave like 25 to 50 droppings a week or some thing or a day anyway, I eventually just had an exterminator come because I was scared to go into my kitchen. I know they’re small creatures and they’re more scared of us than them but I don’t like things that move faster than me and I was walking backwards into my kitchen turning on the light, making a lot of noise so he can go away , but he was pretty brazen, and sometimes he wouldn’t go right away, and I would see him, and it would freak me out, so I called the exterminator and I don’t know before the exterminator I had to come. I had gone and bought these packs of poison that are basically you know I think they make their blood coagulate or some thing long story short, I come back from the store and I run upstairs to put some stuff away. I come downstairs and he helped himself to a packet of poison and maybe I think it’s him and I haven’t seen him since so I don’t know if it was the exterminator or his impatience, but these Travis didn’t do anything there’s still loaded and they’re still locked and ready to go in my cabinet and I honestly I’m tired of looking at them now

I kept these for a long time and didn't really use them much. I tried peanut butter and it didn't work, I changed to cheddar cheese and I have never had a problem catching mice since then. I have occassionally witnessed missing cheese without activating the trap but I've had these for a while, the older ones perhaps might not trigger sometimes but in general 2 traps in the chicken coop and at least one mouse every time. When I used the wood ones I always threw them out which gets expensive. I also like that you remove the cup and then put your bait in there, so convenient. It has caught both mice and rats.

These traps are just ok. They get mice, that's good. But they are a hassle sometimes to reset. I take a mouse out and when I reset the trap I have to stick my fingers in the nastiness of the dead mouse area to get the damn thing to reset properly. They work but they haven't been my favorite mouse traps ever. I have about 6 of these and only 5 left b/c a few weeks after being put into service one of them broke already. They are just plastic and pretty decent but they have their drawbacks. I got them so I didn't have to touch stuff. Well, I have to touch stuff and other traps I've had with this design work better. Like I said, they work, but would I order them again? Eh, probly not.
