I absolutely love this little grater. Of course it's considerably more work then your usual garlic press but the results are worth it. First of all, all of garlic gets used up, no more wasted product. Second, garlic comes out smooth like puree, no bits and chunks, which means I can add it to my kid's food without any worries. Third, the clean up is a pure joy. No more standing there with a toothpick, picking stuck chunks out of the press (again, no wasted product). You just run it under the faucet and done. The only problem I'm having is securing a tiny garlic clove between my fat fingers, occasionally it does slip out but that's my fault, and i may just resort to using a fork or metal toothpick to hold on to it. Can't wait to use it as a lemon / orange peel grater for my desserts, but my next hope is that I can finally grate real ginger and stop wasting money on tiny jars of prepared one.

I like the handle on this, it fits well in the hand. The peeler is great and works really well. The grater itself is really small which makes grating a little awkward though it does get the job done. I do wish that the grating area were just a little bigger. Overall, this is a good tool and I'd recommend it because it's hard to find something that works well for ginger. This one is good but not perfect.

This little gadget it not only a terrific ginger peeler, it is the best ZESTER I have ever used!!! The ergonomic handle and compact design make it easy to use AND to clean! Love it.

The peeling ability is no good

I love the idea of an all-in-one tool for ginger, and the design is clever. However, the grating plane is very small. Too small. If I use too little or too much pressure, my finger ends up on the grating plate or the cutting edge. It didn't draw blood, but I ended up with a couple of sore fingers.

This is another product from the geniuses at Talisman Designs! What I really like about this ginger grater is the handle and how comfortable it feels in my hand as I scrape the ginger. Ginger is not easy to work with, you know! Since I like it so much for ginger, I also tried it on garlic with good results. What's your next product going to be Talisman?

I use ginger all the time now. I hate using my box grater with small roots like ginger. This is a great size for dealing with small pieces. I sliced off a piece of ginger, then i used the edge to get the skin off and then i grated the small piece! I grated using the wrong side and thought it didn't work but then i turned it over and it worked really well. I like that I only had to use one device vs a knife, spoon and box grater. Great product.

This looked sooo much bigger in pictures. Worked al right nothing special wish it worked better

Flimsy and useless for what I do. More a toy than something you can use in a kitchen
