BIC My Stationery Box, 28 Pack

I love it

The box itself is beautiful, bought it to start doing notes for my exams. Normal highlighters are a bit strong so these pastel ones are perfect. I think the value is good because there are a lot of items and that’s all you’d need for beautiful hand written notes.

This is a lovely box of stationery received for review with thanks from BIC and Vine. It looks absolutely fabulous and would appeal to any youngster or indeed anyone who is young at heart who is looking for something bright, cheerful and a little bit different. It basically consists of a nice hinged box with hook and loop fasteners as we are now supposed to call them. The box is covered in a lovely pink flamingo design which, as above, is bright and cheerful. Inside you will find a nice blank-page booklet with a cover of the same design and a variety of pens and felt tips. Thus there are a couple of sticky pads, a correcting tape dispenser, very fine tipped liner pens, slightly wider marker pens and highlighter pens. The marker pens have lovely names to complement their nice pastel shades like Pink Flamingo and Oceanview Blue – what’s not to like! In addition there are some nice BIC biro pens in a variety of colours. The whole thing is pitched in bright pastel tones that are refreshing and appealing. The variety of writing implements means that you can either do fine writing, a little note or an array of colouring in/drawing using the contents within. One or two little points if I may? The box is a bit clunky and I think if funds would stretch then a magnetic closure would look and feel better. The ripping apart as the hook and loop is separated is awkward and the box closing doesn’t ‘sit’ right. In addition, the pack of fine liner felt tips, which are wonderful and come in an array of lovely colours, fit the appropriate compartment too tightly. I had to use the edge of a fine screwdriver to prise them up in order to remove them. I realise they’ve been packed more quickly and more easily when still in their clear plastic wrapper but I think dispensing with this or perhaps having some corrugated grooves for them in the compartment would be better. Lastly, the little booklet is nice but I would have had a little tear off pad with a mix of plain and lined paper to add a little variety and bring out the best from the contents. Also young folk like to display their work or pass it on to a loved one whose portrait they have just drawn, older ones might want to pass an illustrated note and a proper tear off booklet would aid this. All in all, apart from my little comments as above, this is wonderful and I can see many a young or feeling young person carrying this round waiting for an opportunity to open it and write or draw something before the whole thing is secretly locked away for another time. It would make for a fabulous present. As an aside, it’s also an example of world-wide production with products being sourced from across the globe. Many thanks for asking me to review.

I have ordered for my daughter to brighten up her day. I know the quality and range of colours available from BIC but this box is a real treasure as it is neatly packed and presented and contained all the colours she likes and uses the most. It seems a bit expensive but to be honest I could not be bothered to compare the price if all items were bought separately. Great as a gift. I already ordered another one for my second child.

It's Stationary, my Daughter is obsessed! Such great stuff inside and such a sturdy box. Well worth the money Lovely pastel pens and highlighters with nice note books and sticky notes too

The box is pretty, and the contents good. However the box came slightly damaged and the construction of the internal compartments are poorly made. I paid £19.99 for it but still feel that was a little expensive for what you got.

Die My Stationery Box von BIC lässt keine Wünsche offen. In absolut angesagtem Design (abgestimmt auf den Inhalt ist das Dekor in Pastellfarben gehalten, außerdem sind Flamingos ja immer noch „in“) in einer robusten, folierten Box, die mit sehr gut haftendem Klett verschlossen werden kann (und sich auch nach dem Ableben des Inhalts weiterverwenden lässt) bekommt man mit diesem Set eine riesige Auswahl an Stiften. Die Permanent-Marker (5 Stück) sehen auf Steinen supertoll aus, auch Holzschilder oder Gläser lassen sich damit gestalten. Kugelschreiber gibt es hier 6 Stück, sie schreiben ordentlich, liegen gut in der Hand und haben teilweise eine außergewöhnliche Tintenfarbe, die ich so noch nicht gesehen habe. Die Highlighter (Textmarker, 4 Stück) sind genial, wenn man etwas auf schwarzem Papier hervorheben möchte, auf normalen weißen Zetteln sind sie durch das Pastellige natürlich nicht so leuchtend wie die allseits bekannten Textmarker in Neonfarben. Auch 10 Fineliner liegen in der Geschenkbox, allesamt schreiben sehr gut (auch der Schreibfluss ist toll) und haben tolle Farben -die neuen Lieblinge unserer Tochter, ich hatte keine Chance 😄 Tipp-Ex kennt wohl jeder, hier erhält man eine handliche Miniversion mit zum ganzen Set passendem Dekor, der Roller deckt gut und die bearbeitete Stelle kann natürlich wieder beschrieben werden. Supersüß finde ich das Notizbüchlein, es hat 100 weiße Seiten (ohne Linien oder Kästchen), auf dem Einband den gleichen Aufdruck wie die Boxvorderseite und sieht einfach nur schön aus. Es lädt sofort ein, kreativ zu werden 😊 Die Klebezettelchen sind sehr praktisch -deswegen finde ich es gut, sie dabei zu haben- aber auch nichts besonderes; farblich passen sie aber gut ins Set. Ich hoffe, auf den Fotos erkennt man gut, wie welcher Stift schreibt! Wir finden das Set sehr gelungen, es eignet sich unserer Meinung nach besonders für kreative Leute, die Einladungskarten gestalten, Steine bemalen oder andere hübsche Dinge vor allem in Pastellfarben gestalten möchten oder diese mit einbauen möchten 👍🏻
