Is this apron machine washable?

People wash the apron in the washing machine all the time, but, as it has leather parts we cannot recommend it. This is the care instructions: Hand-wash cold. Do not bleach. Hang dry. Do not tumble dry because it will really deform the leather parts. And most important: Always detach the straps and clean them separately

Although the fabric is liquid-resistant (taking some time for liquids to get absorbed), when in contact with bleach, if not wiped off, the chemical will get absorbed staining the fabric after some time. Will this apron fit a plus size (4x)?

Hello, although the apron/bib is big enough to cover the front of a 4X plus size person's body, its straps are leather and they might not be big enough. We have plenty of other aprons in the same size and with cotton straps, which gives you more room to adjust to a 4X plus size.
