Great price and availability. I needed these in a hurry so was prepared to pay whatever my local shop charged but I couldn't find them anywhere in stock. They do work well and being long they can extend one's reach to the inaccessible area that an exhaust turbo joint is normally situated. In my case - behind the engine which could only be reached from under the vehicle when the subframe was dropped. I was at full arm extension but still could not reach the turbo band clamp however these would reach the clamp comfortably. I would note that at full expansion the pivot joint and the ratchet pawl become under a lot of strain. This can lead to the jaws twisting and the clip flying off but if one is aware you can compensate. The ratchet and pawl holding the jwas open under pressure take quite a hammering especially if the clamp does indeed "ping" off. I noticed mine had started to wear thus reducing the life of the pliers. I don't think this is much of an issue at this price/usage but if these were to be used with any regularity I would suggest buying a second set for backup or a more robust set. Either way one cannot complain for the price. Overall very recommended.

It's a good tool and works so saves you time and saves the hassle of fighting with rusty clamps and whatnot. The only thing is, sometimes it doesn't open as wide so you only do half the job with this and the other half with another tool or manually.. Nevertheless it helps with the initial opening of exhaust clamps so it does the job indeed.

Justo lo que necesitaba. No me esperaba que fuese tan grande, pero mejor, sobretodo para un modelo en concreto que la brida del escape queda en un sitio lejos del alcance de otros alicates.
