Standard Black CD Jewel Case - Premium, 50 Pack

These jewel cases arrived in perfect condition. I bought two of the 50 packs. I used these to replace existing cracked and scratched jewel cases that I owned. Great purchase and I recommend them.

If you have a collection of old CDs whose cases are cracked, scratched, and otherwise show their life of being tossed about the backseat of your first car, chewed on by dogs, cats, and angry significant others who were upset that you ate the last slice of pizza when no one was looking, then these case are for you. They are well made, come apart easily, go back together just as easily, and feel as pleasantly slick as that leather pair of pants you bought back in the 80s, but can't fit into anymore (or maybe that's just me). If you want to freshen up your CD collection then look no further than these CD cases. Just make sure you want a black inner liner (just like those leather pants). If you want clear (for the cases, not the pants you perv), then make sure you look for, and order, the all clear cases.

These are the ones you're looking for. These are the real deal CD cases. Not the thin flimsy ones.

Not the most sturdy, but also not flimsy. Pretty decent price, and they do their job.

These cases are good replacements for your old damaged CD covers. Puts your old rock, pop, country, hip hop CDs etc.back where they belong in a good case where you can see both the front and back cover images. Zeppelin, Pearl Jam, Santana, Bon Jovi, Garth, Tupac's disks will feel right at home. The black inserts pop out easily so you can put the back covers with track listings in place, then they snap back in without much drama and stay put. The only possible downside, the black back cover insert that holds the CDs in place are opaque, so you can't see through them to see any back cover art on the front of the back cover, if there is any. These seem about as sturdy as the old cases you'd get with CDs starting back in the 1980's, so, yeah, not a bad deal 50 count for $23 bucks, about 50 cents each.

These are a bit pricey, but the quality is excellent! They are sturdy and large enough to hold 2-disc albums, as well as the cover and booklet, and they still close securely. They were packaged better than anything I’ve received in a long time. The manufacturer put them in a sturdy cardboard box that fit snugly with no extra space inside, so they didn’t shift around during shipping and handling. That box was packed inside another sturdy cardboard box, so they arrived without any damage, and there were no broken or cracked cases out of the 50 I ordered. These are comparable in thickness and quality to the cd cases that albums used to come in back in the 90’s. They’re easy to open, and the cd’s fit securely, but not so tight that they’re in danger of breaking when you remove them. The plastic is fairly thick and it’s clear on the front and back with black in the middle. They have enough weight that they’re easy to handle. Overall, I’m very pleased and highly recommend these.

There’s tons of options on Amazon to get jewel cases for those of us that still like to catalog physical media. And while they might appear to be all the same these “Keyin” brand are just a bit better. I’ve found both the black and clear options to be high quality. They are packed super carefully and make the journey all in tact. The CD trays snap out easily…but not so loose that they feel flimsy. But also not so tight you risk breaking one just to put the tray card in. The spindle is just the right fit so the CD goes in snug but not so tight you have to bend it to take it out. I find the spindle to be a nice looking pattern too, for what that’s worth. It’s proven durable. I’ve used hundreds of these and they are the best. I put every used CD I buy in one and it’s like getting a new one! I don’t know how much longer they’ll be making CDs but as long as they exist, I’ll be putting them in these Keyin cases.

I ordered a 50 pack of these jewel boxes. They were packed in a box within another box and none were broken upon opening. I appreciate the great care that Amazon took when shipping these cases. About 20 years ago I switched all of my CDs from jewel cases to sleeves to save space. I am switching all of my CDs back to jewel cases to display on shelves that I built in my "media room". These jewel boxes fit the bill! Nice and sturdy like the originals. They don't have the "compact disc" stamp but that is a very minor gripe.

The quality of the case makes the CD's I've burned so far look professional. Currently working on copying old cassettes and vinyl record albums onto CD's-love it!
