It's been a while since high school, last time I had to wear a jock strap and a cup for gym class, so that's my point of comparison, but this is a comfortable piece of protective equipment. I bough this since getting into rock climbing and sometimes when I'd fall my climbing harness would really squeeze the boys and it was uncomfortable to say the least. This jock/cup did the trick. I am back to singing tenor and no more soprano. The funny part or perhaps amazing thing is that after climbing I have forgotten that I was wearing this, it's just that comfortable. I was super happy with the price and the fit. I got a "large" and that did the trick. I am 5' 10" and 200 pounds and my frank and beans are probably slightly above average sized so that's the insight on fit. Not too snug and protection was my main concern.

To the good. These fit as the size chart suggests. The cup works well. I wouldn't have thought to ever review this type of item, but things aren't as they were when I was growing up. You can now spend a fortune on these things. Don't, if you can believe it, have to. These are very good and reasonably priced. I'll be getting two or three more. I am well satisfied with these. Haven't needed them, for protection yet. So I can't say how well that will work out. But I think these are a lot better than the ones I wore growing up. Though, to be honest, I don't think I ever ended up needing protection back then, all through junior high and high school. Still, I like these, and the protection should I need it. Well... and some general protection.

This design is supreme to all others for protecting the family jewels. For years I avoided sparring classes because I didn't have one of these and used the compression shorts with built in cup holder, that, and I don't like practice fighting at half speed. Anyway, my instructor asked me to attend more classes in preparation for a national tournament, so I agreed. I ended up going with this combo and I'm very pleased. Sizing was on point, snug but not tight or pinching. Somehow the cup has enough room for me but the slender design give it great comfort and look (doesn't give you this crazy budge like other cups). The one thing keeping me from giving this 5 stars is a sharp edged fabric connection between the thighs (where the narrow tip of the cup ends) there's a sewn connection between the back straps and the bottom of that tip and its huge sharp square that irritates my thighs. Granted, I appreciate the extra attention for durability but the result a thick tab of fabric that pokes you while standing still. While in stance, you don't feel it and you certainly don't feel it while sparring so this is a minor but notable issue. All things considered I really like it and wish I could give it a 4.5. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this game, especially for the price I paid (just went up 10 bucks!)

About as comfortable as it gets and they protect the jewels well.

*****UPDATED***** I have raised my score on this. The manufacturer contacted me after the below review and replaced the strap for free. I've been using it for a while and the quality is much better, with no wear at all. I had, apparently, gotten a defective one and my original strap was not the rule on the quality of the product. I'm a bigger man who started judo at the ripe old age of 42. I had started with a cup that came with compression shorts as the only thing that I could find that would fit me. As I lost weight, they compression shorts became anything BUT, and the cup slid all over the place while sparring. My coach recommended a cup with a jock strap as soon as possible and this was the first one that had a size (XXXL) that would fit me at that point. And it does fit very well. The cup feels comfortable. I really like it. The reason for the three-star rating is the quality of the supporter. I've literally washed the thing three times (and I air dry it, rather than using the dryer) and it is already fraying. It should last longer than that.

J'utilise cette coquille depuis quelques mois pour une pratique kickboxing, en remplacement d'une decathlon 1er prix que je pensais avoir perdu : + Matériaux (élastiques, tissus...) semblent de très bonne qualité. + Cette coquille protège les coucougnettes, ce qui est très important! + La coque est logée dans une poche. Elle peut donc s'enlever pour le lavage. + Le produit est plutôt léger, l'ergonomie est bonne. + Bon rapport qualité/prix. - Honnêtement je n'ai pas senti une amélioration flagrante par rapport à mon ancienne. Bref je recommande pcq le produit semble de qualité et le prix n'est pas si élevé, mais ce n'est pas non plus un produit miracle.

Ero alla ricerca di una conchiglia per riparare la fabbrica kinder durante gli allenamenti di krav maga, e sono super contento della scelta! La conchiglia è davvero comoda da indossare, si smonta per essere lavata, e soprattutto ripara alla grande i vostri giochi preziosi! che volere di più? la adoro!
