Excellent kit, good instructions.
Not much to say except this kit came with everything needed and made swapping the battery (and an additional unrelated component) a snap. Furthermore, the included tools were equally useful when working on my MacBook Pro.

Not sure about this item
I received the item sealed in iFixit box but from their "Return department" label address. Upon opening the box, I noticed the battery has a clear sticky plastic cover like the one you have on new phone screen to peel off. But the plastic cover was all bubbly and not clean looking, no dirt or hairs found but not a typical brand new plastic cover stick quality. I opened the screw driver bag and check the driver bits. I had two drive bits of same kind which was T5, description says T5 and P5 are given. Of course, with missing P5 I couldn't open the laptop. This whole situation made me think, is this someone's returned item? Part was missing and everything was too suspicious so ended up returning the item for a refund.

Working great and extends the life of a MacAir
It was quite easy to replace and was a lot cheaper than going to the Apple store / Genius Bar and having them replace it. Be sure to follow the instructions and charge it to 100% then let it run on battery until it has zero charge and the computer shuts off, then it'll be properly calibrated.

New life for airbook.
From start to finish it was easy and quick. They don’t tell you but it really makes a lot of sense to vacuum out the computer while it’s apart.

Battery for MacBook

Battery Dead after 30 days use.
This battery was installed May 1, 2022 and on Jun 6, 2022 the MacBook Air will not recognize it. I have an older MacBook Air that has the same model battery. I then swapped both batteries and the FixIT battery will not work in either laptop. I'm for sure it is the battery and has nothing to do with either laptop because they both recognize the OEM battery.

Too easy
My local shop wanted $129+ to replace my battery. It took my less then 30 min to do it myself. Thanks IFixit for video and tools.
