Rubber Doorstopper Wedge Suitable for All Floors Non-Scratching and Anti-Slip Design (5 Packs)

I took a shot and bought these five door stops "used". I mean, how bad could they be. At half price, the description said they may be without original packaging. Well, that's what I got. Five loose door stops in a box. But apparently that was the only thing "wrong" with them. No tears or wear marks. No indication that they were ever used or even returned. I suspect maybe the packaging got damaged but the stoppers were OK. I mean, they're just rubber wedges really so.... I got them to keep my recliner from moving on the hard wood floor. I wedged them under a piece of framing in front and back. Under the chair, out of sight and so far so good. Otherwise every time I got up, or pushed back to recline, the chair would move. Usually closer to the wall. Which meant I couldn't recline so I would have to scoot it forward again. I'm probably putting more pressure on them then holding a door open would, so I'd have to say that these are quite good as door stoppers!

Great value, 5 door stoppers for this price, but they really are only about 1" tall and will only work on doors that sit very low to the floor.

They do what they're supposed to. Used more on a carpet surface, so didn't try it much on a hard floor. Great size for a regular door.

These haven't worked well for us, but it seems to be caused by the combination of our doors and flooring. We have an older home with handmade wooden closet doors. I wanted to temporarily secure the closets in the bathroom and extra bedroom to prevent our toddler grandchild from opening them and getting into the contents when she visits (she is watched closely, but toddlers are quick). I didn't want to mount any sort of latch on the door, if possible. The idea was to wedge the doorstop firmly enough to make it hard to open the closet. This hasn't been successful. The rubber doorstop wedge is too rigid to compress. There is not enough friction on the bottom surface of the door stop to do any good. It's much too easy to pull them out from under the door. I'm going to look at other doorstop designs, preferably from softer rubber.

These have worked great! They are sturdy and are doing exactly what I hoped they would. We have a very smart mischievous cat that opens doors. We have pocket doors and he can slide them open in snap and go where we don’t want him to go. We found that if we put a rubber door stop between the door and the trim the door can not be opened. Our previous one was too flexible and our cat could easily wiggle it out of the door. This one is very sturdy and stays put. I am very happy with the quality of this door wedge. However, my cat is not very happy with them! lol

Use these stoppers at work. It's a good product and very reasonably priced. Would purchase again

The product seems appealing, but it is not great. The size of the product is similar to 1 and a half Q-tips. Its not convenient, and not great for doors. Using multiple could help, but why use multiple when one can do the job, and there are other reliable options? Think of the price like this, its 5 for $9 without the sale, doing the math, 1 of these door stoppers is only worth $1.80 each. With that price, its almost expected to not be great. Would not recommend.
