Starbucks by Nespresso Original Line, Decaf Espresso, Dark Roast, 50-count Espresso Pods

I think at this point I've tried every single decaf espresso Nespresso pod both on and off Amazon after the CBTL decaf espresso pods for the Caffitaly system (which I loved) were discontinued by CBTL. While taste is obviously very subjective I can tell you that these pods are dark roasted and the strength is intense, as Nespresso pods go. If that's your jam like it is mine, these are perfect. To be clear: they will never be as strong as grinding and brewing your own beans but the flavor is pretty darn good and the capsules are so convenient. The pods themselves are official Nespresso pods so they fit my machine perfectly and include the silicone seal on the rim to insure that proper pressure is generated for brewing. In ordering these for the last year I've only had two or three pods that were slightly dented but they still brewed in my machine. In terms of cost, I can rarely find these in the grocery stores in my area, but when I can find them, the 50-count on Amazon is always a better value. Finally, I'm super sensitive to caffeine and the content in these seems very low as I don't feel anything from brewing and drinking two pods at a time.

I still keep these stocked all the time because they’re one of my favorite decaf espresso pods ☕️ The flavor is rich and smooth for a decaf, and it still tastes like real espresso without feeling weak. Sometimes when I want a half-caf drink, I’ll use one of these pods together with one regular espresso pod, and the combination turns out perfect for me. It’s a great option when I want coffee flavor without too much caffeine later in the day. Definitely one of my repeat purchases ☺️

I recently had to start drinking decaf coffee on my doctor's recommendation, as I am very sensitive regarding my sleep cycles and am currently dealing with a cyst issue. I was a bit worried about losing the experience of a good cup of coffee, but these capsules have pleasantly surprised me. The taste is simply wonderful; it keeps all the intensity, aroma, and profile of a classic Starbucks espresso, but without the negative effects of caffeine. If you need to make the transition to decaf for health reasons and don't want to sacrifice great taste, I highly recommend them.

This is my favorite brand of decaf coffee for my espresso machine. Very flavorful and no weird decaf flavor. I have bought it several times and will continue to do so, whenever it’s on sale.

It is Starbucks, so it is not the most smooth coffee, but for a decaf it certainly has strength, or out another way: a touch bitter. However, the price (aprox $32) for 50 capsules is far better than what is found on Amazon for a lot of other pod coffees. While not the best tasting, I have to say that I am satisfied with this purchase of Starbucks Decaf for Original Nespresso machines, and I would buy again if the price does not increase. It is satisfies my desire for a decaf and can hold its flavor (bitterness than can turn into sufficient strength with enough milk and even ice cream with chocolate sauce). However, if you drink your espresso straight with no milk, you may find this item not to your taste, but put enough milk in the coffee and you will find it a suffcientlly enjoyable alternative to your caffinated coffees. I am sufficiently pleased with this product and my purchase of it.

Bad and cheap taste. I make the first two pods and plan to throw away the rest. What a waste! Even the Taster’s Choice instance coffee tastes better and this is Nespresso pods.

I prefer the strong taste to any of the Nespresso brand blends

These work perfectly for espresso martinis and so much cheaper than Nepresso and other brands' pods.

Great taste, doesn't seem decaf at all!

This coffee stands out - an amazing flavour and aroma, and works very well on my Nespresso machine. Though decaff it has a rich coffee flavour that is so satisfying. Price however is on the higher side.
