Resin Seagull On Triple Piling With Motion Sensor

I really like the sea gull on the 3 pilings with a motion sensor. The sound is like the ocean with the segull squaking.I already had a flying seagull, that I had bought many years ago, and the larger one on the three pilings that I wantto put in my flour garden wall.

I got this to alert me to people coming my work space. It is more amusing and a lot more interesting than a simple door pinger or laser motion detector. It also seems to amuse people rather than make them think they're not welcome. It makes a loud natural seagull call when it senses movement, based on a light sensor. If someone is wearing dark colors, it detects them from much farther away. This feature also triggers when you change light intensity in the room. In my situation, I placed it in a location where people have to walk through a 6' wide space, and it detected 95% of the passers by. The folks it didn't sense were those wearing a white shirt. The only two minor criticisms I have are that the volume of the seagull isn't adjustable, as far as I can tell, and that the whole thing is kind of unsteady. It needs to be placed in a secure location or maybe attached to the surface with clay or wax. I highly recommend this for a offbeat motion sensor, or if you just have an affinity for seashore stuff.
