Great book
Loved the book. Especially the essays from Rahul Dravid, Yuvraj Singh and Suresh Menon. The description of the relationships that Rahul Dravid and Yuvraj Singh have had with Sachin is amazing. Also, loved the ideology of equating Sachin's 1999 innings against Pakistan in Chennai to Tolstoy's literature.

Brilliant commentary on Sachin
5 starts for the content of the book but kindle version on Android Kindle app was pathetic however it was ok on my Kindle keyboard and iPad.

A brilliant summary of what Sachin Tendulkar was to his peers and people who saw his play from close quarters. Must have.

A gem of a book!
An excellent collection of essays about the Little Master! The best things about the book are the little anecdotes told by various people over the course of the book. For instance, Sanjay Manjrekar describes how Sachin outwits him in a game of backyard cricket. Dravid notes that he and Sachin would converse in Marathi during Indo-Pak matches so that the Pakistani players would not understand. Then there is another incident where Srinath and Sachin would play an imaginary match with an imaginary field set, while practising in the nets. There are a lot of other such anecdotes, which are the highlight of the book. Most of them are quite funny and provide lots of insights into the Little Master. Towards the end of the book, the articles get a tad repetitive(mainly those by non-cricketers), but still that doesn't take anything away from the book. I was expecting words from some other illustrious people(Sunny Gavaskar, Kumble to name a couple), but I guess this will have to do. In short : A must buy if you are a Sachin fan. This book will leave you in a state of Cricket Nostalgia!

Wonderful tributes
I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, well compiled by people who know cricket. The cricket genius of Sachin Tendulkar is captured in his glory. Cricket and Sachin will always stay connected due to his great contribution to the sport. This book is for all cricket lovers not just fans of Sachin. Well written, very good reading

A must-to-have for any Sachin Fan
This is a book on someone who has been a symbol of national pride, integrity and everything that is good in cricket and in life. The book contains some of the rarest pictures which you may not find in the web, some of the interviews which Tendulkar had during his long and illustrious career. The experiences and observations of teammates like Ganguly, Dravid, Yuvraj, Anil Kumble, Aakash Chopra with some very sweet anecdotes in between makes the book a must-to-have for any cricket fan. Not to mention the articles by elite group of cricket writers from Mukul Kesavan to Rahul Bhattacharya, from Gideon Haigh to Osman Samiuddin. Thank you Cricinfo for bringing out such a marvelous collection.
