These batteries don’t leak like their counterpart, Duracell which always leak.

They just work
I got these for my smoke detectors. The life on these seems to be better than other brands. I know you are supposed to change the batters in the detectors every six months, but with these I don't. I run the smoke detector test every three months, and these always last over a year. I usually change them at the 18 month point for safety. In the years I've been doing this, I've only had one battery die in that time period. Luckly, I have some other things that use these batteries and I use the rest of the charge with those.
