Sturdy and versatile boom arms for the Blue Yeti
I’ve been using this boom arm with a Blue Yeti and it’s worked well for home recording and streaming setups. It’s a solid upgrade from using a desktop stand, giving a lot more flexibility in positioning the mic closer to my mouth. The arm feels well built and stable. The clamps and joints are strong enough to hold the weight of a Blue Yeti without sagging. The metal construction gives it a sturdy feel, and the cable management velcro straps are a nice touch. I’ve heard people say that the springs on these cheaper boom arms tend to wear out, but I haven’t had any problems after 5 years of use. Assembly was straightforward and all the screws and parts were included. I mounted it to the edge of my desk with no problems. Once tightened, the arm moves smoothly and stays in place, even when repositioning the mic frequently. I appreciate that it can rotate and extend easily while keeping the mic stable. Like most boom arms, it will pick up some noise from knocking the arm, typing, or tapping the desk, but using a shock mount or mounting the arm to a separate surface away from the keyboard mitigates this. Pros - Strong and stable - Includes cable ties and different adapters for mounting various microphones - Easy to clamp to desk Cons - The knob on the desk clamp could be better, but at least it allows you to detach the arm without removing the clamp - Isn’t the best at dampening noise Overall, this boom arm is great value for the money. It has solid build quality, lasts a long time, and makes repositioning your mic much easier. For more precise mic positioning, I recommend adding a ball socket joint at the end.

Decent boom arm with useless shock mount
I'm not a professional in sound recording by any means. I got the Blue Yeti to record coding lessons, but soon realized that when I used it with the included stand on my desk, my typing reverberated through the metal stand and was not ideal. I went to find a cheap boom to rectify this. The boom arm works fine, it's strong enough to hold the heavy mic in place in many positions. The included screw adapter is needed to make the smaller screw fit into the larger Yeti threading. The arm does have external springs that can be somewhat noisy when you move the arm, so you probably want to keep it in place while recording. The pop filter/wind screen is nice and improves the sound as well (though I don't have any reference point with other screens.) I've seen other reviews saying that the clamp on the screen is weak - you do have to angle it properly on the square arm to fit right. As others have pointed out, the shock mount is too small for the Yeti, which is disappointing and would be the final thing that would keep the mic from picking up my fingers thumping on the keyboard. But all in all, it definitely upgraded my setup and was worth the low price. If I were more concerned about getting the best sound, I would go for the official Blue boom arm which is way more expensive.

High Quality Materials & Performance
I wasn’t sure what to expect for $25, but I’m actually really satisfied with it. The c clamp couldn’t fit around the edge of my desk, so I had to remove the washer which sucks, but that’s more so my desks issue than the mount. The build quality is nice and it holds up my blue yeti great. It was actually able to connect to my yeti shock mount that I already had. I just hope it holds up well. For the price though, cannot be beat.

Make sure to read the details carefully
For what you pay for, its a good buy. the material quality is great and it will get the job done for sure. However there is some problems that I have come across in my 6 months with it. Firstly, although it is sold as being for Blue Yeti Mics, its compatibility with them goes no further than that the bolt fits. For smaller microphones, there are two plastic mounts that can go on the end that allow you greater flexibility and vibration cancellation, allowing for better sound and the ability to turn the microphone in almost any direction you wish, however if being used with a Yeti or any mic over 2" in width, you can't use any of these accessories. Meaning that you get just a single range of motion with no vibration suppression. All of this makes it no more useful than stand the Yeti comes with in the box. The pop-filter works great, however some of the decisions on the design of the gooseneck its attached too are questionable. Firstly the gooseneck has some play in it, meaning you will move it perfectly into position only for it to drop about a centimeter once you let go. This isn't that big of a deal though, just a note. What's really questionable though is how the gooseneck connects to the mount. Instead of facing the connection point forward so that the gooseneck could follow the frame and mic closely, creating a slim and elegant profile, it instead sticks straight out the side. This makes it so that a stand that only takes up a couple inches in width normally instead takes up almost a full 9" of space. This might seem like a small nit-pick, but if you are looking to buy this product, you more than likely are doing so to keep your desk space free and tidy. Having a nice mic stand with its own cable management is a look that is great and ultimately ruined with this snake of a gooseneck coming out of the side like a loose hair on a well groomed head. Thats all I have to say about this product. It works, but it feels like it never went through R&D as almost all of these problems I found on day 1 and have continued to be problems 6 months later.

Works well for me
This mic arm does work as advertised. I set it up at my destination to hold my blue yeti usb mic. My girlfriend teaches lectures and makes videos too and this works really well for her. The quality isn't super nice so if you're looking for something that looks really nice too this might not be the product for you. If you want somthing that works as intended then I totally recommend this!

Bueno pero...
Se afloja sólo con el tiempo, tienes que estarlo apretando constantemente.
