How do you install rods on grommet curtains?

Mine came with two ball bearing shower curtain rings that I placed behind the first grommet of my blackout drapes.

My curtains do not have grommets or any type of hooks or rings. It’s all fabric. Can thus still work?

Same with me. I was going to just use a needle and thread to make a little reinforced spot to hook it to near the back and top so it was behind the curtain. When I got on a ladder and looked at the back of the curtain, I was able to latch on to a natural spot in the hem. So, you may get lucky or you may need to do a little hand sewing. Good luck.

How wide is the hook hole?

The hock hole at the top of the pole is 3/5 inches (16 mm) in diameter, and we also provide a pair of 1.5-inch diameter metal rings that can be used on the grommet curtain.

Is this rod 1/2” thick?

Yes, they are about 1/2 inch thick and very sturdy.
