Accurate, Clear, and Stylish โ Perfect Wall Clock for Any Room
This radio-controlled wall clock is excellent. It set itself automatically and keeps perfect time with no effort required. The large bold numbers are easy to read, even from across the room. The silver and white design looks clean and modern, fitting nicely in my kitchen and would suit an office or classroom just as well. It feels well-made and reliable, not cheap or flimsy. Simple to hang, runs quietly, and always shows the correct time โ exactly what a clock should do. Very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend it.

A Very Accurate Clock at a Very Good Price
This is my first atomic clock and I made sure that I read the instructions thoroughly before I installed the battery. To be honest, all I needed to do was to put the AA battery in and the clock did the rest. First, it sent the hour, minute and second hands all around until they were all pointing at 12 and then it began to search for the signal from Cumbria. That took about five minutes to receive and the clock then set itself to the correct time. It really was as easy as that. In appearance, the clock resembles the sort of timepiece that you would see on a railway station back in British Railway days, or something that would be on the wall of an institutional office. It is purely utilitarian, with a face that is easy to read, a factor which is very important to me as I get older and my eyes become wonkier. At ten inches across the dial is large enough for the average living room wall, and the clock is a good two inches thick. I suspect that has less to do with the need to provide space for its workings and more to do with the fact that this clock aims at copying the style of institutional clocks of yore. The clock ticks softly, something which is not needed with its battery operation, but it is an agreeable, soothing sound that does not distract from the radio, television or conversations. All in all a very good purchase at a very reasonable price.

Decent for the price with a tiny flaw
Easy to set up, insert battery, press the Receive button to initiate clock to accept a radio signal, the hands will perform a single 12 hour sweep, return back to 12 and then within 5 minutes the clock will set to the correct time. Fascinating to watch, it's like magic, you can't help but sit and watch it happen. The flaw, the clock movement i.e. the depth of the case, extends beyond the clock housing in the back of the clock so you cannot hang the clock flush against the wall, if you do the buttons are pressed against the wall and advances the minute. Probably not the most annoying thing in the world, but still a bad design. If I'd known this I probably wouldn't have bought this but a decent price for a 25cm clock. The clock is suitable for a large room (5m sq) with clear white face with black numerals. The second, does tick which might annoy some, but I wouldn't suggest hanging this in a quiet room, such as a study or bedroom.

Be patient when setting it up.
Pleased with the clock. Good size with clear numerals at a distant. Setting up was not as quick as I would have hoped. Eventually set it up in another room then moved it to permanent position. Similar experience when the clocks were to be set back. Stopped with all hands at 12 and many restarts and resets failed although other radio clocks had updated. However, patience, and it's keeping good time and I am pleased with purchase. Put it down to signal strength. Have experienced this problem with other radio clocks but not life threatening.

Perfect
Put a battery in, hang it on nail or screw and forget it. It soon sets itself, it is accurate to the second, adjusts for DST / BST as needed, batteries last for a very long time, (even cheap ordinary alkaline or zinc batteries), it's silent, easy to read at some distance, looks OK and great value for the price. What's not to love!!

Awful purchase.
I bought this for my son. When it arrived I thought I will try it out first. I know these type of clocks work in my house, because I have already got one. I put brand new batteries in. The clock got moving, but itโs finishing position was 5 minutes behind. I tried to fix it manually but to no avail. I passed this onto my son, to see if he could remedy it. He also failed. I bought another one where I got mine from. It works perfectly. I would definitely not recommend this clock, go to Argos, they work. I only gave it one star thatโs for the packaging it came in.

Youshiko Radio Controlled Wall Clock
Received this clock within 48 hours. Very well packaged. Very simply just pop a AA battery in the correct orientation, and placed the clock on the wall. The hour, minute and second hands will move clockwise to the 12 position and will wait for a successful signal to indicate accurate time. Mine took an afternoon to get a signal as expected living so close to the coast and in a valley. There are functions to force the clock to receive a signal, or set the time manually. I understand that radio accuracy signals are transmitted every two hours so I waited. If you set the time manually, surely that negates the notion of an automated clock. Anyway, if you do set time manually the clock should eventually get the transmitted signal and automatically set itself. We'll do for reading this far and don't worry, nearly done. The clock is clear and the hands align okay-is. The second hand is not a constant sweep, it steps. There is a very slight sound of the mechanism if you are very close to it but not anything to annoy. I choose this as I am fussy about accuracy and bone idol to adjust twice a year for GMT and BST. I don't have OCD but it is pleasing to see the time accurately and synchronised on all devices, phones and clocks.
