Does this work for weevils?

If you mean larva in your flour, cereal etc. Those are most likely moth larvae. These traps will catch the moths so they cannot lay eggs, therefore solving your problem.

Do the current pantry traps have those little pheromone pads that you could place on the sticky walls? the ones i found in home depot don't.

When I purchased these traps, I too was looking for the little moth bait holder that could be used over and over again. If I had realized these were only sticky pads with the bait in the sticky pad itself, I would not have purchased them. I bought previous ones a few years ago from Meijer (grocery and dept store combo) and they came with the bait that you could take off and put on a new pad. I have looked for them for a couple years now and I haven't found them. I reluctantly kept these traps and used them cause I needed something for the moths. Good luck on your search.
