Product arrived in good condition and on time. Easy to work with and installation not that difficult. For now, I'll say works great, followed manufacturer's instructions to the letter. So, I guess this is a we will have to see rating. Maybe I'll check back in about 5-10 yreas. Hopefully I won't have any reminders to do so! (if ya know what I mean) Yes I would (as of now) purchase this product again even though it is a little pricy!

Cheap insurance!
Intended for tiling used as a back up sealer for a PVC shower stall install feels like it will last at least 10 years trouble free. I would use an Oatey product if i would have found one.

Love all their products. This stuff is the only way to go to cover your screws on a new shower construction. We cut these in 5 inch pieces and got a ton of screws covered

So much better than old wire mesh
New to doing my own tiling of shower/bath surrounds. On the first bathroom I used the cheap traditional gray wire type mesh and it doesn’t stick well even though it’s “self-adhesive” and was a pain to cover well with mortar plus the top edge was beyond my tile edge and nearly impossible to cover and make look smooth once I used drywall compound and paint. I used The Kerdi mesh on the second bathroom and it is smooth and easy to apply Mapei water defense to. It left no holes or gaps for water to leak through. Kerdi brand products are pricey but I think this one is worth it from my experience.
