Optimate cable O-01, ring terminal harness, powersport

Great quality. A little short for some applications. Would like better specs in the description to make a more informed choice.

I have installed these Optimate connector cables many motorcycles over the years and most recently installed this one on a friend's new motorcycle. Here in the Midwest where we can't ride year-round, it is helpful to have an easily accessible connector to plug in a battery maintainer and these Optimate cables are the best quality I have found for that use. They are durable and I have yet to have one fail. It is also very helpful that they include a good rugged dust cap to cover the end when not in use. They actually include two of them, so that you can swap over to the green one when connecting to a bike with a lithium battery to avoid accidentally connecting the wrong charger to it. Great product.

Worked great and easy installation

This is exactly what's needed if you want to be able to quickly plug your Optimate battery tender into a battery without having to mess with the larger alligator clamps. It looks more professional, and makes it easier to shut the hood or trunk of your vehicle while charging, without risking hitting the larger clamps if your battery is up higher, near the hood or trunk lid.

This is one of the best produced SAE battery connector that I have seen. Exceeded my expectations. And at a great price. I use this to connect a solar array to my RV batteries to charge them. Much better than using the less secure claws on the posts. Very weatherproof so I can leave these leads permanently hooked to the batteries inside the box and have the connector hanging out for easy connection. Highly recommended.

I keep my truck on a trickle charger and run the wire through the front. It's exposed to the elements so the cover keeps the connections from corroding.

Wiring is 2 ft long. Not 6 ft as described on Amazon.

I added this to my new motorcycle that did not come with a battery tender pigtail. I chose this one because the end cap sits broadly across both connection points at once, rather than the older style that sits just atop the connection points and is less protective from dirt and moisture (see photo with thumb).

Très pratique et bien conçu : s’adapte aussi bien aux vis M6 que M8 (quand on a les 2). Permet de brancher maintien de charge ou chargeur, sans pinces, sans étincelles et de fermer le capot pendant la charge. Le câble est assez court sur ce modèle, il est en attente dans le logement batterie.
