Professional, huge, and smells amazing. 😻 I honestly rarely write reviews, but this bag deserves one. 1️⃣ I have been hunting for a work bag that can actually handle my 17-inch laptop plus all my files, and this 18-inch vintage messenger bag is a total game-changer. The Pros: • Space: It is cavernous in the best way possible. It fits my massive laptop, power brick, a notebook, my lunch, and a water bottle with room to spare. • Quality: The leather is genuine and thick. It came out of the package smelling like real leather (which I love), and the "vintage" finish looks high-end. It looks like a bag that cost three times the price. • Organization: There are so many pockets! I finally have a dedicated spot for my phone, pens, and business cards without them getting lost at the bottom. • Durability: The hardware (buckles and zippers) feels heavy-duty. I’m not worried about the strap snapping when I overload it. for daily commuting, and I’ve already received so many compliments at the office. If you are on the fence, just get it. You won't regret it!

I have had a few Komal’s Passion Leather bags in my Want List for over a year and decided to finally pull the trigger on this one. I was very pleased with the quality and craftsmanship of this bag. It is roomy enough for my 15.6" Chromebook and it's leather sleeve, a couple of large books, a large leather bound notepad, my 10.1" tablet in it's leather case, and still has room left over for a few small or thin items. The two pockets in front are the perfect size for a mouse and power cords, even my vertical mouse fits in them. The side pockets are perfect for writing instruments, a cell phone or any other small item. I rated everything with 5 Stars because I really can't find any flaws in this bag. I am very particular about what I own and never go with something that is just "good enough", so when I say this is a great item you can take that to the bank. However, all that being said, there are two things that I don't like - one minor and one a little more not great. The minor one is I would have liked to seen the same concealed push button lock on the two front pockets instead of just the main strap. Having push button locks on the side pockets would have been great too. Not a deal breaker to me but a little bit of an inconvenience if you are getting in and out of those pockets a lot. The not-so-great issue is the shoulder strap. I notched it at the last hole to make it as short as possible (I'm 5'10") but the bottom of the bag still hangs to my knee making it almost look like a purse. The top of the bag is still above my waist though. I wish that KPL had anticipated buyers being under 6' tall and put in a few more holes. I have to say, I nearly made the decision to return the bag based solely off that. This is why I call it the (nearly) perfect bag. Fortunately I have a leather punch and can make a couple of holes to make the strap fit me better but I hate "damaging" something to do that. I still had to rate it 5 Stars because there's no feature that is specific to the strap and everything else is made so dang good that I couldn't mark anything lower. It would have been best if the strap was a single piece - it is two lengths you buckle together - or if it had a way to cinch it up. Bottom line - if you are looking for a high quality, very sharp looking laptop or messenger bag (I use this for gaming) then you don't have to look any further than Komal's Passion Leather.

Hello Passion Leather Team and Potential customers. I purchased this messenger bag on Amazon in August. My sweet husband was about to start his third year of medical school (clinical rotations), and his last polyester bag served him fine enough, but as all crappy quality items do, it frayed, ripped and broke. I was in the market for a new bag, but I didn’t want to have to keep replacing garbage ones. I SCOURED Amazon for leather bags, and I found attractive “leather look” but not the real thing— but then I found this messenger bag. It was supposed to be for Christmas, but I was too excited to wait. My husband is notoriously difficult to shop for, but my goodness, his eyes lit up when he opened the box. The leather smell hit him in the face, and he grinned from ear to ear, “Is this real leather?”. Yep. Proud wife moment. He spent the next hour inspecting in pockets, the seams, the buckles and interior. It passed his rigorous quality inspection with flying colors, obviously. He immediately RAN to grab all his things from his reusable plastic shopping bag that he had substituted as a carryall (how embarrassing!!), and meticulously packed the new bag. Not only did it fit everything, there was ample room for additional items, like his scrubs, his Ziploc bag of toiletries, and his Hydroflask. Amazing storage capacity— they really outdid themselves. He stood in front of the full length mirror, putting the bag on, adjusting it, carrying it, literally hosting his own fashion show in the mirror. He was positively DELIGHTED. The first day of his clinical at the Psych hospital, he was showered with compliments on the bag. The doctor he was shadowing told him he looked “more doctory” than he did. Nurses complimented him. Patients complimented him. The rich leather smell permeated the office and everyone LOVED IT. We have told everyone we know about this bag and website. Every clinical he has been to since, the messenger bag is eye catching and makes a great impression. I just wanted to say thank you. Thank you for making such a beautiful, high quality product. It’s attractive. It’s functional. It’s professional. It’s easy to carry, and travels well. The buckles don’t break and the zippers are thick and sturdy. Obviously, it’s leather so it’s water resistant but you do have to care for it like any real leather product. Spacious and easy to use. It’s wearable art. I am actually so impressed. Well done. This is a fantastic product. A generous amount of space in the interior, with plenty of compartments for various size objects and zipper pouches to keep valuables safe. The interior large pockets fit my old school 17 inch Mac laptop (one that still has an internal disk drive and is quite bulky) with ease. The exterior zippered pock on the back is also well designed. As advertised, the bag is made of genuine leather and had been treated very well. In the past two months I have been using the bag, it has work quite well and people have commented how stylish "old" it looks, which for me a is one of the pleasures of owning a leather bag. The shoulder strap is sturdy and the cushion is just enough to keep the strap from digging into your shoulder without looking oddly bulky. I've found I can place a large amount of work items into the bag without items getting smashed and the outer buckles can handle being stretched. Overall, if you are looking for a quality item, leather that wears well, handcrafted for that little added touch, and a bag that really has tons of space for all your needs, this is what you want to buy. The only improvements I would ask for in future versions is to put on the back of the bag a hollow strap to allow business travelers to put the bag on their roller board; currently I just hold the handle of the briefcase and the handle of the roller board at the same time. Adding that extra strap to put it over the handle would make it over the top awesome.

A very nice looking, decently made messenger bag. Very roomy inside with dividers and pockets in the main compartment. Four buckle closure pockets; two on the front and one on each end, and one large side zipper compartment. Main compartment has a quick release hidden under the buckle, very handy. The leather is very dry and fairly stiff out of the box, I applied a few coats of neatsfoot oil to get some suppleness back into the leather. Dye finish was consistent and did not rub off with the oiling. Looks even better after it. Stitching was a little inconsistent but acceptable, just a few little "glitches": merely cosmetic. I really like the rolled seams on the edges. Would pair well with a leather bomber, whip, and fedora. Carries all DnD core books and more. Or it's a nice looking large briefcase.

This bag has been a major aspect of my daily ensemble for the last 4 years. I wanted to wait several years before reviewing it as leather is a product that builds character over time. So this will hopefully help someone who is buying their first messenger/laptop leather bag. I was not sure about it because I had not done much research on leather but when I got this bag I also got my Redwings Boots so the pairing has been helpful as I know and understand now with experience what it takes to take care of leather goods. This bag has gone across the country with me into many different environments and climates. The entire time, doing exactly what I wanted it to do. The strap-my one concern when I got it, has held up extremely well and all of the straps and zippers are of great quality. I get a LOT of compliments on my bag whenever I go out with it-one of the most memorable was some girl telling me my bag was “a whole mood” lol. But aside from that, when you first get the bag, understand that it is GOAT LEATHER—so there will be a smell for some time. It disappears and honestly, I would say that arguably, this goat leather really has shown more character than the cow leather we would mostly see. Also as the years have gone by, it has become so soft and it is like an extension of me. I am an artist so I carry all my sketchbooks and tools in the bag, but when I go to the day job I carry things related to that. It looks great on the seat of my jeep and is a very handy addition to my things I carry daily. I wouldn’t be without it and if something happens to it I would DEFINITELY order it again. Side note: I actually ordered the LARGER luggage bag as well but that doesn’t see the same amount of use obviously. The natural oils of our hands REALLY REALLY bring this bag to life after about 2 years of use. I can’t say much more than that—just buy it and see for yourself. This is a great quality bag and I love even just seeing it on the chair at home. I really love this bag and they have done a brilliant job providing it to us! Bravo, and I can see why it is the passion of the creator! (Photos included but it is taken by iphone in office lighting so it won’t do it true justice!) BUY THIS ONE! YOU WONT REGRET IT! See my original review below. I’ve had this bag a little over 3 years and it’s wearing well and leather still looks amazing. I’m currently about to buy a crossbody bag. You will be happy with this bag and at this price point go for it!! 5 stars for style, vendor response & day-to-day use. Scale of 1-10, a solid 8. I was in the market for an updated laptop bag. I’d gone through the gamut of various backpacks and briefcases. When I saw this bag, I thought it must be cheaply made because the cost was quite affordable. Thankfully I was mistaken. For starters the bag is very stylish. It’s billed as a men’s messenger bag but I have received quite a few compliments on it. The bag comes in 2 colors; a darker gray made of Full grain buffalo leather and the caramel color I have is made out of mountain goat leather. The longer I keep it, the better I like it. Make sure you get products to protect the leather from liquids and heavy oils that will discolor the bag. (Still adds to the character) What I love: The owner of Passion Leather Komal Chaudhari sends this very nice thank you letter on excellent card stock. Within the letter are instructions and expectations. She points out that this is genuine leather and so there may be a smell but it will dissipate over time. Also, because these are handcrafted, the natural hue and appeal of the bag is that as it ages the colors may slightly change over time. This adds to the beauty of the bag. The stitching is exquisite. She asks to please reach out to her first if there are any issues. They are a small business. I tested this and emailed her because I had tons of questions. Her team responded within a day, most times quicker, as in a few hours. The bag has lots of pockets and slots to store things. I was able to put in my small devices along with my 15” laptop and a small paper notepad. My laptop is a15 inch but my 17 in easily fit in my bag. It has a long adjustable strap and the clasps/hook on the longer shoulder strap is sturdy and larger, not flimsy and small like some bags and the metal is quite nice. What I don’t like: The shoulder pad on the strap is quite small and thin. The plastic wrapped around the metal accoutrements were a bit tough to get off and had a residue but it cleaned easily. The bag itself is kind of thin (but the inside mesh is quite nice) I wish the buckles had a snap feature to close the pocket but instead you have to actually put it in the loops to lock it (except the main flap as it does snap in and that is also adjustable too. The zipper is very good but I wish it were a tad sturdier. Since the bag is thin, you cannot haul too many heavy items, as it felt like my strap was going to give. This travels fair; meaning it’s great to put in the car and go or possibly on a short flight. Anything longer, not certain it will hold up. I’m not sure if the shoulder strap was glued before stitching. The stitching is solid; however, some areas are already showing some fraying. (I was a little tougher than normal as I wanted to check wear and tear for the review) Overall, I would definitely buy this bag again and I plan to purchase other items from this vendor. The bag us uniformly well made and looks and feels very sturdy. Nice vintage look. The two front pockets and the two end pockets have buckle only fasteners while the main flap has a buckle for adjustment and a press snap for quick release that is hidden by the tongue hanging below the buckle. There is a full length zippered pocket on the back and two more inside the bag. The interior is lined with a heavy fabric of an olive green colour and is divided into two slim outer pockets and one wider center pocket. The inner dividers have two slim pockets on one and leather strip pen holders on the other. They are both lightly padded to help protect your laptop ot tablet. However the bottom of the bag is only fabric over leather with no padding so you might want to put a peice of foam on the bottom if you are carrying your electronics. The hardware seems of good quality and the shoulder pad has a loop large enough to easily pass over the adjustment buckle so you don't have to fight with it. The strap has rivets at the conection points. The handle attachment points are both sewn and riveted. Only one tiny cosmetic flaw on the back side of the handle. At some point the leather here got scraped and the smooth finish is gouged out in a small patch a little more than an eighth inch square. Very minor. The bag is intended to be used so it will probably get a few more scuffs in Its lifetime. Over all a very impressive bag. It is a tad on the heavy side but it is made of good quality leather so that is to be expected. A high quality item. Five stars.

This is my first time writing a review on any product but I found this product completely exceeded all of my expectations. The bag was beautifully wrapped with a Thank you note and letter to explain that the leather may have a distinctive smell (leather) for the first few weeks. Each buckle was individually wrapped so as not to scratch the leather in transport. It is exactly the kind of bag I was looking for to carry my computer (18"), books, pencil case and notes. It has great pockets both inside and out and the easy clip stap is great. My only complaint is the strap has the buckle on the short side so the strap flap is pointing up rather than down but this is only a minor problem. I waited a few weeks to post the review to see how the bag would hold up to everyday use and there is no issue with the straps or the handle holding the weight of my items. I have received so many compliments on this bag as well. I love it! Thank you for making such a beautiful product and such a reasonable price.

The bag that arrived was not the bag in the picture. I need an 18 inch messanger bag for a 17 inch laptop. The one that arrived doesn't even reach 17 inches, so it rendors this unusable. Besides which, the buckles are locked with no key. It me 10 minutes to open it by the buckle. Bag in itself is quite well made, but I cant use it so there's no point. I'm really displeased about not getting the bag in photo.

Beautiful bag. Very sturdy, has held up very well over heavy use in the first month I've had it. Easy access to all compartments. Comfortable padded shoulder strap. Buckles for straps to close the top cover are a little awkward, letting the straps work themselves loose occasionally, but it's a very minor flaw on a very nice briefcase.
