This is not to be mean, but I understand why a large percentage of people hate on this shirt... it sounds loose fitting, but it is not designed for the "non-fit" body type. This is a traditional style of tunic shirt. It is 50% hemp, so WILL NOT stretch through the middle. If you have a typical "american" body type, and have a belly, do not get this item as it will not fit. I order a large shirt everywhere else, and here was no different. Large fits just fine. Lastly, this is a handwash, hang dry garment. If you put it in the washing machine you will shrink the cotton, but not the hemp. I've since ordered 2 more of these shirts and love them. Once again though: *If you have a belly, these shirts will not fit you as the 50% hemp fabric will NOT stretch.*

Tis shirt is very well made the linen mix in the fabric gives it a classy touch. It is an excellent choice for summer wear it is so light and cool. Just one thing you will need to order one size smaller these are very large......

This is the second one of this shirt I ordered (the first one being the blue one). It might have been a fluke, since the first one was in perfect order, but the seam stitches on this one were already coming loose as soon as I unpacked it and kept coming loose in rapid time. After I had them re-stitched (thanks Mum!), all was well and the fit and feel are once again perfect. Since the other shirts seem (note I did not make the obvious pun) to be fine, I gather this was a one-time glitch, but it did seem a bit sloppy.

Nice material. too small. shirt is for sized for European or Asian market instead of Americans who are much larger. I normally wear large or XL neither fit. The customer service was great. Manufacturer sent a larger size but it was also too small. I suggested the manufacturer use clothing pattern for American market. if you're not bone thin skinny order 3 sizes larger and pray it fits.

I think this is a cool shirt but the fit is way off. I ordered a large because reviews said it fits smaller than expected and that couldn't be more opposite. I took this into consideration and ordered the large that easily fit as an XL. (I'm 5'11", 168lbs). Other than that it's a cool summer vacation shirt for when visiting the beach or want a more chill laid back desert look.

I purchased an XL in anticipation of an extended trip to SE Asia (Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam) in the coming rainy season. I have a 43" chest and normal proportions at 5"10 and 180 lbs. The fabric feels great and the shirt is just loose enough that it should be an excellent fit in the heat and humidity we anticipate -- a L would probably have been too close fitting for hot weather comfort for me. The fabric is not at all heavy, it seems a perfect weight for its intended use. Before our trip I will try it out in the typically hot Arizona June weather as a sort of test run. My wife loves its appearance. I have purchased several linen items for the trip and will see if that fabric is a climate friendly as claimed.

The shirt is stiffer than the photo depiction. We bought the “grey blue” and it isn’t blue looking at all. It’s clay color grey. I will attach the photo. I think it runs at least a size too small. If you want that linen type fabric flow, order up at least a size. I’m not sure if I will send it back or give as a gift to someone else. My son, who chose it for the color and cut, doesn’t like it and is disappointed in how different it is from the ad.

A good quality shirt which is as advertised. I am 5'8" average build and it fits nicely. It would be tight on me if I had a beer belly. It hangs longer than a typical tee shirt. I bought this for casual lounging in the summer and it will certainly be great for that.
