I have two salt blocks (one for cooking and the other for serving), so I purchased this solely to store my blocks. Both blocks fit perfectly, and the handles are not at all flimsy (as I read in other reviews). I plan on purchasing another holder to use for cooking. I will submit another review after I see how it holds up in the heat.

Perfect carrier for salt slab. Buy it when you purchase the salt slab.

The handles we're not hand friendly. Bottom was also thinking and not sure how long it will hold up.

Used all precautions given. Heated slowly with increasing temperature in oven. Broke into pieces before finishing it's heat up. Waste of Money!
