Bag opening is a pain to shut once you trim the ‘cut here’ line. Effectiveness - this casein has had a good impact on recovery and growth so far. It hasn’t disrupted sleep or caused any bloating, think that’s down to personal bodily reaction not solely the product from reviews I’ve read. Extra note: something I noticed is when taking it before bed which I do on training days I found that my Garmin sleep showed improved levels of deep sleep by an extra 25-40% over my normal levels. That I found rather interesting considering deep sleep is where a lot of muscle / strength growth takes place.

I’ve been using this for a while and it’s pretty good .Different to Whey - if you’re not familiar with the product it works slightly differently in that it digests more slowly meaning that it’s a good way to feed your muscles overnight while your body is recovering from exercise.. In terms of what it’s like to drink I’d say it’s nice enough but it doesn’t mix quite as easily as whey which I usually find quite enjoyable to drink . The vanilla and strawberry seem the best although the chocolate is ok . Main minus point is the packaging of the kg bags which is dreadful . Most protein powders have the same issue but this is especially bad to work with and I’d strongly recommend keeping in a tub because the seal never works .

People complain about the trivial issue of the bag seal not working, although they are right it is easily solved and less hassle that if it was working to use a cheap peg. So that's that. The product is great, this is my first bag. The flavour is not to my liking but I have gotten used to it, used milk for a few weeks to make it taste nicer and now I can drink it with water. The value is the cheapest I could find on amazon and the Packaging was just a delivery sticker on the bag itself which I preferred as it's less waste. If this protein is better than others, I've no clue but I've been taking this for nearly 3 months and have had no problems. The bag comes with its own measurement cup and have provided all related images, (plus a funny 'gains' image, enjoy).

As with all casein it doesn’t mix easily and seems, in fact, to repel water. But that was expected. With a bit of effort it mixes fine and tastes pretty good. No stomach issues. No complaints from me.

This is the first time I have purchased protein powder so I have nothing to compare it too. I read varying reviews before buying this product and chose to ignore the negative ones. My first attempt was with straight out of the fridge soya milk, it didn't mix too well leaving it a little lumpy. I decided to use tap water on my next attempt, this mixed fine. I prefer filtered water, which comes out super cold from my fridge so I added a little warm to make the temperature ambient and once again had no problems mixing the powder up. You could perhaps warm the milk up a little, using less than required, and then add cold milk to make it colder.. Taste is ok, just like a chocolate milkshake.

As other reviews have said (eg. by Th***s, etc) this has definitely been ruined. It used to mix well and thicken up like Casein and now mixes as thin as water. It's not like Angel Delight, it's like chocolate water. The complete opposite to how it was. PBN have previously mislabelled product for example supplying Salted Caramel labelled as Chocolate ( I had x4kg of that), and I think this may be another example. Its either whey and not casein, theyve disastrously changed recipe, or there's a fault and theyre adding minimal Casein with no other thickener. Also worth noting is Ive now had many KGs of this before change and after, as well as having taken Casein daily for well over 10 years. PBNs email is consistently down too, only returning mail delivery errors. I'd avoid it if or until they change it.

Très bonne miscibilité dans l'eau : je la consomme en boisson avec 500 ml d'eau. Le goût de chocolat est présent mais discret. Très sucré (avec édulcorants) car une dose (30 gr) suffit pour sucrer les 500 ml d'eau. Éviter de consommer avec du yaourt : ça fait une bouillie très difficile à avaler. Elle se digère bien et soutient la capacité à faire des efforts.

La pire protéine que j ai pu essayer ! Ne se mélange pas, des grumeaux, des blocs énormes ! Le goût est atroce, même si le prix est bas, vous ne ferez pas une affaire ! Une horreur !

Le goût chocolat est délicieux, agréable et pas trop sucré. Facile à mélanger, la texture est lisse et agréable. Je recommande vivement ce produit à tous ceux qui cherchent une protéine de qualité, efficace et savoureuse. En plus, avec 1 kg, il offre un bon rapport qualité-prix !
