Can the interchangeable parts be sterilized?

I purchased this for one person and for personal; use and it depends on how you sterilize, i cleaned them with soap and water how i would my dishes in the skin and never had an issue with smell or discoloration. product is very well made and i believe it tells you how to clean also if you contact them directly they are helpful
