All of our products, including our Cacao Powder, use naturally gluten free ingredients and are produced on gluten-free lines. However, please be aware that gluten is not something we actively test our products for. Please note, our products are packed in a facility which also packs wheatgrass and pea protein however it is a BRC certified facility and there are policies and practices in place to prevent cross contamination. To prevent cross contamination a clean down of equipment occurs after the packing of every product. There is also periodic testing to ensure the efficacy of that cleaning.

Green Origins takes the issue of allergen management very seriously and we pride ourselves in providing reliable and consistent information about our products. Allergen controls are in place to prevent cross contamination during production, packing, storage and in transit. As of June 2015 all of our products are packed in a facility that does not handle nuts.

It is worth every penny!

I love this product! It is rich, smooth and delicious. I use it to make hot chocolate, smoothies, brownies and cakes. It has a wonderful chocolate flavor and aroma, and it is organic and fair trade. Tried it because of Dragons Den episode

Saw an episode of Dragons den and decided to give it a try.... came well packaged and seemed good quality (wouldn't know if it was bad anyway). Tastes like a combination of cheap unsweetened hot chocolate and rough coffee. Very strange indeed. Now I have a pack that will sit at the back of my cupboard and never use!

Divine taste

This is the first real cacao powder I’ve tried, and I was a bit nervous going for a lower priced option. This is delicious!! I now realise why people revere the true drink so much. I made a hot cacao with oat milk (just because I’m dairy free) and couldn’t believe the richness and full taste. It has such a rounded flavour, barely needs sweetening (I used a fraction of the amount of maple syrup suggested on the pack) and is truly pleasurable experience. (Edit: I don’t sweeten it at all now, it just doesn’t need it, there’s no bitter taste whatsoever). I’ve signed up for a subscribe and save deal as the price is too good to miss for a product which I’ll be consuming every day from now on. I can’t wait to try it in baking and other foods as well.
