Awesome
We just moved and our new closet has a custom closet system in it. I installed this ironing board on one of of the shelves and it is awesome. I just pull it out, flip it open, spin it around and iron. I iron A LOT and even though I was moving from a much larger ironing board, I find the size to be sufficient. It flexes ever so slightly when you apply pressure to the out-most tip of the board, but I don't find that it is unstable or inconvenient. Obviously this mounts to a horizontal surface like a shelf. The shelves in my closet are not fixed so that they can be adjusted up or down to suit your needs. The ironing board comes with some L brackets so that you can solidly attach the shelf that you are going to mount the board to. I chose to use a Kreg pocket hole system to mount the shelf permanently. One of the pocket holes mounts through to a stud in the wall behind it. This makes the shelf, and therefore the board, very structurally sound. Hope this helps. Overall we are very pleased with this product.

Great alternative to wall mounted ironing board cabinet.
Love this product. Could not fit in a built-into-the-wall cabinet due to an adjacent closet. This was a great alternative. We've tucked the ironing board in a narrow area with some home made shelves above and below. So nice to have it available but out of the way. Very sturdy and easy to use. Just need to be careful to measure all dimensions before you start. Excellent.

Avoid This Vendor and Product
Do not buy this product if you expect it to fit in a standard drawer opening as pictured on the website. And, even though the product was totally unusable, the vendor would not allow us to return this product. I am an interior designer and work with a multitude of vendors and I have never experienced a vendor that would not allow us to return an item that was not functional. My advice is to stay away from this product and this vendor.

Not at rigid as necessary to iron well. I had to hack it by putting a brace below the fold-out section. The padding is very thin.

Great ironing solutuion if your space is limited.
I installed this into a linen closet and it works great. It is pretty sturdy for a fold out design. If you are short on space, this is a great option. No complaints here....
