Do rechargeable batteries work in this?

I haven't tried rechargeable batteries in this unit but can't see any reason why they wouldn't work.

Does this come with batteries , and is the switch a twisting function or a rubber /silicone button ?

I honestly cant remember if it came with batteries or not. It is a twisting function however I found that difficult with the rubber tip (had to take the tip off to turn it on/off bit of a faff otherwise) Having said that the rubber tip was useful at night, glowed green however even with extra care I managed to lose it within weeks. On the whole I would buy this again.

mine doesn't seem to twist, can anyone help?

The front cap should twist to turn it on and off. The whole front end unscrews to insert the battery.
