This collagen is made from chicken not beef which is harder to find. I have not noticed a big difference yet but will continue to take is for a while to see.

Very expensive as supplements go...

I have taken this for two years now since I broke my femur and I feel a difference in my bone strength. Also, an extra benefit, my skin ihas improved as well. It is softer and smooth to the touch.

This is the only brand I recommend for patients and only brand I take myself. I do notice a difference in my face not appearing as 'crepey'

I was very skeptical when I tried this product. I had tried it a lot of things for my chronic joint pain. Nothing had really helped except prescription NSAID's. My knees were extremely painful, but it effected my fingers and elbow joints regularly and hips occasionally. I tried PT, glucosamine, omegas, tart cherry, turmeric and probably more. I had resigned myself to taking my daily prescription NSAID which helped, but I still had significant discomfort after even walking for a short time, but could no longer run without extreme, sharp pain or go for hikes without suffering for days afterwards. After hearing support for Collagen supplements in multiple places - i thought i would try it. I seriously think this this supplement has changed my life. I rarely have to take my prescription NSAID now, I can go for pain free walks, running is still painful (although not the sharp pain I was feeling before. I can hike now with only mild discomfort the next day depending on the intensity and that is when I usually take my NSAID. I've heard it can help skin too - but I have not experienced any real change there. I have also heard that you should not take this at the same time as a glucosamine supplement (if you take both - just take one in the am and one in the pm). I just stopped taking my glucosamine supplement because I didn't really appreciate a benefit. Staying well hydrated helps too.
