This book is filled with lies. I read it all. I have to say, it started out cute. It was a nice beginning; a girl who finally made her dreams come true by going to Hollywood and going to a Michael Jackson concert. The thing that confuses people about this book is that Shana will say something negative about Michael, but then lift him back up so that it appears that she is defending him. She stated that he would not show up to places if he wasn't called the king of pop, his connection with kids was odd to her, he got many plastic surgeries because he was addicted to the drugs, and that he would teach children crude things and think it was all good fun. She has one picture of her and Michael in twenty years of "friendship". Paris Jackson and Karen Faye have even said that Shana is not being truthful. She is seeking revenge from someone who she worked for and idolized who didn't feel the same way (my opinion). Why would she publish a book about Michael's secrets if she loved and respected him? Why would she bring him down but then claim to be defending him? Please, do not read this. If you want to know the "juicy details" there are screenshots from parts of the book. If you want to get to know the real Michael, I suggest you read My Friend Michael by Frank Cascio and/or Remember The Time by Bill Whitfield and Javon Beard. Mariah Carey’s: “OBSESSED” song starts to play when you think of this girl. I was stupid enough to buy this crap book (I was young and I wanted to know everything about mj). I am a huge lover of mj but I wouldn’t go far as being obsessed with him like this lady does!!!! I bought this book while in Barnes and noble, I saw the front page of mike and didn’t even know or ever heard of this girl. Ever!!!!!! I bought it read it, later I did digging of this girl shana. She has this shrine like insta that talks and talks and talkssssss about him. She talks non stop of her book. And some of them are repeats of other posts. She obviously has nothing new to say. There is one topic she doesn’t discuss at all.....and the reason why is because she knows it’s fake and not real: the sex! She claims to have sex with him and makes it that he came onto her! While I have read mike is the biggest tease to women I highly doubt he would...........allow a girl he hardly knows and keeps saying “promise you won’t tell” to shana a million times to go and give a deed “Down there”. Mike was very very self conscious about his appearance and you can see in public appearneces he’s shy and embarrassed easily. No celeb would allow girls to just have sex without an NDA!!!! Especially if he keeps begging that girl not to tell anyone! Mike is smart. No way would he trust a couple of nonsense wordscoming from a 20 year old “virgin” to keep it quiet. And there are rumors where mike absolutely didn’t want to take a girls virginity!Aside from that topic, she claims that mike paid way more attention to her and mostly her during the filming of “ghosts”.....rolls eyes and head! There is no one that can back up her stories!!!!!!!!!!At the end she expects mike to keep calling her after there few “rendezvous”. She then proceeded to bash mikes looks after 1999. Saying in the book and on her insta! Real “LOVE” isnt about looks, or makeup or surgery! Mike has explained that real love comes within the SOUL! And she clearly didn’t take his motto on that.This girl is so far up her narcissistic self that she must pan cameras all over herself on insta and has to admit she knew mj the way so many girls wanted to.Tatiana, ola, and other women he’s worked with have proclaimed love for mike but they moved on! After they said “he loved me too”. They didn’t do what shana did which is make profit off dead mike and talk about the love that was never there!!!! It’s sad she’s like 50????????? And still can’t get over the past! So sad!!!I’ve read more about how mike hated this girl because of the 2005????? 2006????? Interview she did which he hated her for! He was so private and hated how she did that!Moral of the story: narcissistic girl who wants to make money off a dead celebrity that can’t defend for himself!She has literal photos of her stalking him in states, Washington DC, his family home, never land, she followed him to his 45th bday. Etc. it’s creepy! It’s funny how she has one photo of them together. No others. No real relationship. Backstage pass and one photo op with him is it.Some of her teen fans that weren’t even alive during mikes time will say I’m a hater. If me, seeing the clear lies she’s spreading about poor mike and the bashing she’s doing then yea ima hater! I hate how people are STILL using mike for money! And for more lies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This book was a waste of over $17. I want a refund. This book is nothing more than cheesy fanfiction masquerading as a tell-all. The author seems more like an obsessed fan than an actual lover or even a friend of Michael Jackson. I feel like a dog would write a more truthful sounding book about MJ than this Mangatal chick.

I bought the kindle version of your book. I was intending to read a few pages and then continue it after work. Well, there I found myself up til 5 am finishing it up. Because I couldn't put it down!! So well written! I truly believe her about their affair, and do not believe Michael was asexual like a lot of people thought. I mean as super private as Michael was, of course he wouldn't have wanted anybody to find this out. Michael liked the mystery of it all. He loved to keep the public wandering about him. I do believe somethings may have been better off left unsaid or untold. I'm sure at times his behaviour could be contradictory from everything I've read about him. At the same time it is very hard for me to believe some of the details like, he would ask someone to give him an award as hard as he worked and as much as he deserved it. On top of this, I've never heard anyone else say anything like this. I could see, feel, and smell everything she experienced as I was reading the book! The butterflies and allll....How blessed Shana was. I mean a once in a life time that something like this would happen. Like Shana, I grew up loving Michael, and to read how intimate you were with him and his life is just wow!! Dreams really do come true, huh? I found myself envisioning it were me!!

I’ve been having an emotional rollercoaster in the past couple of days trying figure out how I feel about this book. I will say that after reading the book myself, i’ve been reading multiple reviews of others on here to try to form an honest and accurate opinion.At the beginning of the book I was extremely disappointed. The picture she paints of Michael is as if it’s written by someone who doesn’t even like him. *Spoiler* She claims that he has demanded an award everytime he performed at an award show and demanded to be called the King of Pop at every occasion he was introduced. Now let me start with this, MJ was no angel and I never knew him or Shana personally. However, I researched and watched Michael and his work ethic and how incredibly hard he worked and how hard he wanted to succeed and be the best he could. I find it hard to believe that someone of his work ethic, someone who worked this hard and spent a lifetime on perfecting his craft and this driven to achieve the best he could would ask for an award that isn’t earned? Why would he work this hard to then take the easy way out? Why would he put in this much work to not even see if it would pay off? That’s what lazy people do. MJ was not one of them. You can not be the greatest entertainer of all time and be lazy God doesn’t work that way.Even if this is true and he did demand these things I wouldn’t have worded it the way Shana did as it put him in a very bad light making him look like some arrogant dick who believes the world owed him something. So that was extremely disappointing and found it a bit disrespectful.For those that are asking Shana of evidence of the affair, although I understand your frustrations, before you jump at her throat please ask yourself how would you prove you had a romantic relationship with someone? How would you prove that you ever kissed or slept with someone etc these things happen behind closed door for a reason especially for Michael Jackson a man with a level of fame like that can’t just walk around lipsing people in public. These are things we will never find out.Overall it was a good read, but I would’ve preferred Michael being portrayed in a more consistent light. One minute she says he’s the nicest person she has ever met yet there’s multiple times she mentions how rude he treated her sometimes and his staff and although she says Michael was very inconsistent (or bipolar) it sometimes just doesn’t correlate. Shana seems like a lovely girl and I wished she stood up for herself more. I know most fans don’t believe or support her, and although there’s questions in me about parts of this book I believe they had a romantic relationship. Watching her videos and observing her personality it is very close to Michael’s. I can definitely see him liking someone like her, very caring, soft spoken cute and etc. The only thing I found questionable was that none of Michael close friends, associates or any of the Jackson family follow her on any social media platform.

This was a very interesting read, definitely one for the MJ fan. A different and true perspective from a close friend/ lover to the King of Pop! This is a lovely account expressed by the author with alot of inside info and detail.

I really enjoyed this book it was very informative. Will definitely keep to read again

It is an interesting read and shows that not all that glitters is gold.
