What is the minimum age requirement?

The Age requirements on most nerf guns is 6 and up however this gun is kinda strong for a pistol, Which makes it a very good pistol but if you have younger kids a Maverick is a much better choice. They are still strong and cool looking but they are weaker, and more kid friendly. This gun I would say is about 8 and up. I am 20 and I use it for my Humans VS Zombies club at college.

Can I use nerd suction cup darts with this gun?

Yes, and it works best with those too. There are other great options as well: You will need extra darts.
