Overall a good book with a lot of interesting references - and ...
Overall a good book with a lot of interesting references - and to that point, this book is best if you use it as a springboard into other deeper literature and theory. The chapters are structured in a way that someone new to the topic could understand, but the material becomes redundant over time and heavily recycled towards the end - bold-faced words appear over and over throughout the book and are defined slightly differently in different contexts. Not bad for a discussion starter but definitely not something I would be citing a lot in a dissertation.

Fun Textbook
I rented this book for a principles of language learning college course, and it was incredibly interesting. The information was well-presented and clearly organized. I loved every chapter, and each topic was explained thoroughly. If you are interesting in being a teacher, I would highly recommend purchasing this book due to its practical arrangement.

As good as before!
Some theories have been updated and it seems the changes are between 10-20%. It is as comprehensive as before and a great book to review new trends in the field of L2 teaching/ learning theories.

Misprint on the front page but replaced by seller.
The book is great but IT HAS A MISPRINT ON THE FRONT COVER which is actually pretty ridiculous especially for an English language book. After contacting the seller, they agreed to resend another copy of the book within record time.๐
