Works well on older Kindles with micro USB, even in some protective cases.

I used this on an older Kindle Paperwhite (the edition released in 2018) with micro USB. It fits well, and although the USB port is off center, this adapts easily enough it can be angled to center the coil on the back. When returned to the Amazon Kindle case, it is nicely concealed and the case additionally secures it, along with the included adhesive.Having fully charged the Kindle using this, I can say it does not get particularly hot, which was a concern.

Fine charger for non-Qi phones

When I got my Samsung A20, I thought it had wireless charging. It doesn't, so I looked around and settled on this charging adapter. I got the short version, and as you can see from the picture it fits very nicely. You plug the cable end into your phone and then curl the (for me) short cable to the back, with the pad. The pad comes with an adhesive, like double-sided tape, but I didn't use that. I just positioned the pad on the back of the A20 and slipped the case onto it. That holds the pad quite well and there is no extra bulk from the tape. This fitment does make the case bulge out just a bit due to the extra thickness of the pad, but it isn't bad at all. I can feel it when I hold the phone, but it isn't bothersome. One consideration is that, to use wired charging, you need first to unplug the pad. This isn't an issue for me, because I just charge wirelessly all the time so I never plug/unplug the device. The pad does not get hot and charges the phone very well. I have it coupled with a wireless EnergyPad base and the phone charges quite rapidly. I also wirelessly charge in my car, so whether at home or while driving, I have convenient place-and-charge setups.I do recommend this charging pad-adapter. It has been a great addition to the ease-of-use of my first-ever smartphone. Since Samsung recommends several short charge sessions rather than fewer longer sessions, I find this setup is perfect for my use and for longevity of the phone battery. I don't think I'll have to buy again any time soon, but this is the pad I'd get if I were back in the market.

Gives my Android phone wireless charging. Works great!

I have a OnePlus 6T. I bought it because it was mistakenly sold to me as having wireless charging, but I quickly found out it didn't. The rest of the features were nice enough that I decided to keep it, and this pad fills in that gap very nicely. It's very thin and has a thin ribbon cable with low-profile USB-C plug. While thin, a hard-shell case may not allow enough room for this to be used, but if you have a silicon case that is flexible, you'd barely know it was there. The ribbon cable connects to the jack at a right angle so that when it is plugged into the phone, the cable extends towards the back of the phone. The cable is very thin and all it needs is just a slight amount of flex from the case. The pad itself is very thin. When in place, the jack just barely extends past the opening in the case for the USB-C port, being almost flat. The case doesn't lay perfectly flat on the back of the phone, but you'd have to look for it to see the almost imperceptible bulge. All of my wireless charging pads work fine with it. The phone starts charging and I never have to plug in a USB-C cable to charge it. I have a wireless charging cradle in my car, and it works well in that too, letting me top off my phone any time I drive, or use the GPS with directions while not draining the battery.Pros: Works very well!Cons: Uses the USB-C port so you can't plug in anything else. As long as you rely on a phone case to hold it in place, you don't have to use the adhesive and it does unplug easily enough when you need to use the USB-C port, but still, you'll have to do that.Advice: Measure the distance from the base of your phone to the camera opening. Make sure you choose either the short cable or long cable. This cable length determines how far up from the bottom of your phone the pad will lay. You'd probably like it sitting closer to the middle, but don't want it to overlap the opening in your phone case or accidently cover up your rear camera lens. Make the measurement and check the choices to be sure you're ordering the right length.

Too slow, see below for MUCH FASTER Qi receiver and charger combination

How to get FAST Charging and not heat!I tried a bunch of different combinations of Qi chargers and receivers. One combination charged VERY FAST!Receiver:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08ZNP3Y76?ref=fed_asin_title&th=12000 mah QI Receiver Type C for Samsung Galaxy A51 - Type C Wireless Charging Adapter USB-c - Fast Qi Wireless Receiver Type CIt is made by YK YKING but if you put YK YKING in the above search, it doesn’t come up.Charger:https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CKXKYSMY?ref=fed_asin_title&th=1ESR for MagSafe Charger 15W Wireless Charger for iPhone 16 Pro Max/16 Pro/16/16 Plus/15/14/13/12 Apple Magnetic Charging Pad for AirPods 4/3/Pro/Pro 2 Galaxy S25 Series with Dual USB A/C Ports, BlackSurprisingly, it outperformed chargers rated higher than 15wIn addition, it is built MUCH BETTER than the other Qi chargers, much better/stronger/longer cable and magnet to hold whatever you put on it steady. It is smaller too.Part of the solution to getting best performance out of the charger is the power source you plug it into.To get best charging speed, you MUST plug it into a 9 volt 2 amp source. Less than 9v or 2a, not only will the charging speed be substantially reduced, both the charger and the receiver will run hot, since they are not getting enough power, so they are not running smoothly and consistently and instead varying charge and struggling to stay at optimum.Anyway, I hope this helps.Spent a lot of time, trying different Qi chargers and receivers, measuring charge rates and times and this one combination was immensely faster than all others! Almost as fast as a direct cable, instead of wireless Qi.
