Magmount Base - Superb
Great Magnount Base - very strong once stuck and not to big eaither this is the 3rd one I’ve bought for 3 different antennas works brilliantly definitely recommend

Strong magnet, questionable construction
A nice strong magnetic mount, tested with a 1/2 wave vertical on 2m, holds up happily to 60mph (And probably a bit more). Once the rubber gets stuck this isn't moving! Update: after having this for a while i decided it was time to put a different antenna on when the connector snapped inside the housing letting it spin freely. It was a nightmare to free my antenna. The mount was ruined and had to be cut off leaving only the coax usable, atleast not all to waste!

Threads uneven. Antenna does not Screw in and holding nut Loose

Very poor quality silicone base cover
Only had the mag mount a few weeks. Only put it on the car twice. Silicon cover on the magnet is very poor quality. Should be made of proper rubber. Certainly not due to poor handling as it was stored in the boot when not used.

Wrong pitch
Unfortunately neither of the two I purchased fit. the pitch on the thread was too tight on both so aerials won't go on 🙄

Received in brand new perfect condition. First off pulled out my vom meter and made sure the connections were ok, they were. Put my Diamond antenna on. And used Rig Expert analyzer on it . All went perfectly. Great mag. Mount. Highly Recommend!

Solid mount that stays in place even at highway speeds. Coax is also decent length so as I can mount it near centre of roof, run it through back passenger door, and have it reach my arm rest console where radio is mounted.
