To start, I loosely (and I admit, irresponsibly) tied down 11 of these tubes already inflated into the bed of my truck for a 5 mile drive to a local shallow river. Not even 2 miles down the road, about half of the inner tubes ended up hanging off ALL sides of the truck. None of the tubes were dragging on the road and I pulled over as soon I could to fix the problem but, in the time they were hanging off of the truck, I know some of the tubes scraped up against trees and bushes and at least one of the tubes smacked a mailbox at about 25 mph. It was a scene. Luckily for me, it was all on back roads and the two vehicles behind me were in my party so there was no one to make a fuss. The tubes all made it to river without a single one popping or tearing which amazed everyone. We got in the river with the tubes (there were ten of us total) and after about 2.5 miles of frequently bumping into rocks and fallen logs and dragging bottom, again to our astonishment, not a single tube casualty. No busted seems, no torn mesh, nothing. They held up surprisingly well and we'll be using them again and again. The tubes of course will be better secured next time and we'll more than likely choose a deeper, steadier river to float down to help ensure the longevity of the tubes, but they are definitely good quality tubes that can withstand some "mistreatment".For the money, compared to other tubes available, you just can't beat it. The head rests are comfortable, the tubes are big and roomy, 2 cup holders(!), strong mesh bottom, rope around the sides and clips to secure to other tubes, etc. This is a great product well worth the money. I now have my own fleet of these bad boys and I can't wait to host another river float.

Great and durable. We had so much fun floating the river! Endless hours of entertainment.. Easy to pack for camping trips. Be sure to bring a pump because they take some effort to blow up manually. Highly recommend

Tubes seem well made. Good comfortable size for adults. I really like that they come with a quick connect to daisy chain multiple tubes together. Makes it easier only having to use one rope to tether a group of people to the boat and also the people hanging out in the tubes dont have to constantly hand paddle back to the group if the waves or current separate them.

After reading the many reviews and seeing these as well as the River Rats (also Intex) at various lakes and rivers, I decided to pick one up. I also picked up the River Run 2 for 2 adults. The River Run is a high quality medium duty River or lake tube. The build is thicker and tougher than a regular swimming pool tube and you notice this right away.The other thing you notice right away is the size. This thing is big for one person. I am 5'7" and when I lay in it, my hands can barely touch the water. When in a lake and drifting, it would be nice to be able to steer a bit with your hands in the water. So for me, maneuverability is just not there. If you want to just float, it is great.Unlike the River Rat, this does not have an empty hole in the bottom of it. It has mesh which is nice for me, but the River Rat was more popular in our group, especially with the grand kids.Where this was real popular for myself was the inflation and deflation of the tube. It uses a standard large nozzle like you would use on an air mattress to sleep on. It is simple and fairly quick to do, especially when you see the size of this. To deflate, you simply unscrew the valve assembly and force out the air. It could not be made simpler.The reason for 4 stars was due to being unable to maneuver this in a lake with your hands. I am taking a paddle out this next week as we camp again and seeing if it is doable. To some, this may be a non-issue but for myself, when I see an area of rocks coming closer, I really do not want to just drift into them and to find out the hard way that one rock may be just pointy enough to POP the River Run. The River Run though does have two air chambers for safety.7/19/14 UPDATE: Just got back from camping and I would upgrade my rating to 4.5 stars if I could. We used it at the lake and i brought along a double end paddle we use for an air filled 2 man boat and it worked decently for maneuverability. Hey, it was not perfect but I was able to go against the current and a light wind to get back to the area we were at after drifting a bit. I did get a bit wet from the paddle as one end is down in the water and it was still a reach to get paddle in the water far enough to do any good, which left the other end was up over me in the air dripping water. This was not a big deal as with the River Run, you are still getting wet as you float where you sit. :)

These are great for the lake. We just used them over the weekend. The color and size were great. Wet comfy could have took a nap. Very stable. Love them

THE BEST TUBES for floating the river!! We float the river every 4th of July and the river is full of these tubes- everyone has them because they are the best. They will ruin you for every other tube. The headrest, the mesh bottom, and cupholders are our favorite features. The cupholders will hold a can of soda, but would not hold a big water bottle, which in my opinion is just fine because it will keep my can nice and snug. We have a toddler that can sit right in the middle of it, instead of slipping through or off the side. It makes it easy for her to sit with one of us. We had some family members float with us last time and they had the tubes with the hole in the middle, and everyone was getting banged up by the rocks because their legs were underneath them, but everyone using our tubes were comfortable. You can sit cross legged in them or just lay across them. We haven't had any issues with holes or tears, and they feel very durable. They hold their air for the couple of hours it takes us to float, and we really dont have any complaints. Definitely worth it!

My friends and I have gone tubing every weekend this summer as it's an easy thing to do without talking to or seeing anyone else (especially when using your own tube and going to lesser-known spots). I got this one-seater, but can also say the two-seater with built-in cooler is fantastic. We connect them all together and enjoy our drinks and snacks and conversation in the sun. The tubes have netting under the seat, which makes staying in them really easy and safe for kids. The inflatable pillows make them comfy for lounging. I wish they were a bit more comfortable for laying on your stomach, but we can't have everything and that's ok. The rubber bottom is really durable. Where we go is pretty shallow and we sometimes scrape against the bottom of the river or bounce off trees/rocks. We've never worried about popping. They inflate really easily - just make sure you have access to a boston valve pump. It's pretty specific, we didn't have one, and we drove to 4 different stores (Ace, Lowes, Walmart, Target) before anyone knew what we were talking about. They deflate quickly - we recommend letting them dry out in in the sun before folding them up or storing them or the mud/dirt can stain the white upper. Not a deal breaker, but just note. 10/10 would buy again.

El mejor flotador que he tenido en mi vida. Calidad muy buena. Se ve muy resistente en comparación con otros hinchables. Además la boca de inflado y desinflado alterna entre estas dos acciones. Esto último ayuda a que el desinflado sea totalmente automático (no tienes que quitarle el aire manualmente) y rápido (desinflado en menos de dos minutos sin hacer nada). El tamaño grande y es MUY CÓMODO. Me encanta llevarlo a la playa, es fácil de transportar.
