Dog Happy! Fabric Panel for Quilting

I used this panel's blocks to make a group of dog & cat placemats for myself and for auction to support the BAACS rescue shelter near us. The center block's quilt piecing pattern is from Karla Alexander's New Cuts for New Quilts. I used jelly roll strips. The panel's blocks lent themselves well to both print and batiks co-ordinating fabrics. I had a lot of fun putting them together & they sold well at the auction!

Fabric is adorable but I misjudged the size of the squares.
