As far as am aware you may be able to get an adapter for it to run on the rail.

Yes, but you have to adjust the saw. Which is simple but annoying if you have festool rails too. The section were the saw slides on is slightly thicker, or thinner can't remember. If you use all the same rails it won't be a problem.

Can i use this guide on a draper plunge saw

Most plunge saws will run on any rails as most are standard. The makita rail has some features that will on work on makita plunge saws
