Automatic Air Relief Safety Valve AR300

Cheap plastic , poor quality ,won’t last long , worked for 2 weeks then stopped not good Quality, say automatic but doesn’t work Would not recommend it. Way over priced

the unit does work to discharge air but on low pump speeds, it probably spits out more water than what goes to the pool. not going to work for my application.

I had a vacuum in the system when off, The old valve would cause the filter valve to burp all night long and keep me up at night. Only if I released the valve after the pump was off and allowed the filter to drain would that solve the problem for the night. The inventor of the safety valve told me that at startup-and-vacuum release the safety valve would discharge a bit of water which only lasts for less than a second. If you have a concrete deck or have the valve pointed at other equipment this might affect you. I just pointed the safety valves hose so it would points away from other equipment and the area outside my pad is crushed rock so the water can drain away. Good product! Just point the valve away from other equipment and expect the discharge.

Does not relieve air pressure . Have to manually release buildup.

Not what I expected. I thought this automatic air release valve would automatically release air from my pool filter continuously. However, the valve only releases air when the pump is first started. Not a good solution for filter systems which have small suction leaks that continuously generate air.

I have been waiting for someone to develop a reliable automatic air release valve for my pool filter for years. I installed this valve in about two minutes and it does exactly what I need it to do. It automatically purges air from my pool filter tank at startup instead of having to do it manually.

Horrible bought two for two different filters. neither sealed well and let out a constant trickle of water. enough to lose hundreds of gallons a day!!
