Wonderful product, have used several times since receiving them roughly 10 days ago with zero issues. These round, fuzzy heros are doing a superior job quietly performing all the duties dryer balls were made to carry out I.e. far less static than without them but my favorite perk is shorter dryer times aka laundry efficiency increased 3 fold, at least! The storage bag is made of quality material as well; and adorable to boot. I the future, if y'all ever find a way to add GPS and track their location my life would officially be be complete 😍 lol

Love these! They're a great size, so the four are perfect for my laundry needs. I used them after I washed two pillows and they dried faster than normal. I also used them with a couple of blankets, and they dried soft. No issues, no smell. I did not notice any static. They seem as if they'll last quite a while. Great price, too. Would recommend.

I've been buying and using these wool balls for years. I love them. They last about 2 years.. they work at helping to dry things more quickly. I purchased these as a gift. Everyone I share them with gets hooked. You get 6 in an order - I use 12 so I always order 2 sets. As for use as a fabric softner - I don't really think they work well as "fabric softners" - but they do work to keep the laundry separated and therefore the laundry dries faster! Worthy of a purchase in my opinion. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. I wanted some of these wool balls after visiting a relative who used them and liked them. These come in a bag to keep them in. Before I used them, I tossed all of the balls along with the bag into the dryer and let them 'dry' for about 40 minutes. Just made me feel better to do that. My clothes do come out feeling softer and not wrinkly. As for static, there were a couple of items that were staticky but not all of them. However, I do know that with my relative's wool dryer balls they did that for a few dries and then the static wasn't as bad. Ultimately, I think it will be according to what kind of clothing and maybe even what time of year--like here, it is winter and very dry outside and inside. I didn't have any lint or residue on my clothes after use. I didn't find them loud. I put all of them in a load of regular clothes and every so often I could hear a dryer ball hit the sides, but it didn't bother me--I put a video of my clothes drying so you could hear it, and I was close to the dryer. I also did a load of towels and boy that's where I saw the difference! I don't use softener on my towels ever because it builds up on towels and will make them less absorbing over time. But these dryer balls made my towels feel softer and even thicker and fluffier--there was a noted difference. I would consider putting essential oil on half of these to use with my towels or sheets. I'm quite pleased with my order and only wish I'd done it sooner. Also, I snagged them on sale, so even better!

Edited 12/26/2025: The original set of dryer balls purchased in 2023 finally wore out (plus new rescue kitten decided to attack & destroy several). 2nd set arrived this past week and between the balls & a new dryer, clothes are once again drying faster and little to no static cling. We bought these back in 2023 because normal dryer sheets were irritating our son's eczema, but we still wanted our clothes to be soft. We saw these here on Amazon and decided to try these out and was pleasantly surprised at the results! These dryer balls help dry your clothes faster and with less static cling. In addition, there is no scent that could irritate people with sensitive skin or allergies. These have lasted us several years now but with a family of just 3, we don't do as many loads of laundry as other families may so the longevity will vary depending on your usage. It's now 2025 and we will be placing a new order very soon as we've begun to notice static cling is starting to return and loads are taking longer to dry. As a side note, in case anyone is worried about the noise level of the dryer balls bouncing around in the dryer, we have never really "noticed" this unless it was a very small load such as when I dry a hand washed delicate cycle but then again, with the balls included, the run time was significantly shorter. Therefore, noise level was not an issue for us.

They have started to change in shape where they've been nicked in the tumble, but they work great all the same. No fraying, weird smell, or any issues—they are simply wonderful wool balls. After the few test trials, I am confident to confirm that the dryer balls indeed speed up drying time if you do not overload your dryer (small- medium size clothings). I've put some essential oil on the balls in absent of not using softener, it smell heaven. Here is the bad news for those who are thinking to use for bedding (quilt cover, and sheets), let's be realistic, small balls will be tangled on large items and please put down you expectation. Otherwise, these dryer balls are useful, can keep your towels fluffy and your energy savings happy.

Bought them as read a recommendation of using them when tumble drying a down jacket. They worked but are absolutely brilliant for everything. Instead of shaking bedding after the end of one cycle and putting it back in, in now dries in the first cycle. They just live in my dryer now.
