Stellar James Martin Kitchen Knife Set Wooden Block with Knives - 5 Piece Set, Carbon Stainless Steel, Razor Sharp Blades, Anti-Slip Handles

Been looking to replace my 20yr old knifes for some time, I came across this Stellar set some time ago they are very well made a wee bit light in the hand but I got used to them quickly. Was very happy with the price.

I bought this knife block for when i move into my own home having used a knife from this set that my parents have. Really good quality knives and comfortable seem to use and the ones in this set are identical. I probably won't stick them in the dishwasher as I think the handles might not be suited to it, but I always wash kitchen knives by hand anyway so doesn't affect me. Knife block is sturdy, and has a nice weight to it (so not likely to knock it over) and the acrylic cookery book stand is going to be really handy (I'd not seen this when I purchased so I consider it a bonus!)

Knifes good quality and very sharp. Handles are comfortable to hold making cutting easy. The block is a good idea with the book support but my base was a little rough at the bottom so had to have it covered before putting on my work surface . It could also have a slot for scissors to make it 5 stars . Over all very happy with the items (knifes) they are 5 stars . But good value for the money.

Bought as a replacement for old knives,they are lighter than my old ones but look good quality,pefect for the home cook who isnt butchering a lamb or lobster every week.

We have had these knives for over a year now and just bought another set to give as a gift. Very happy with the different sizes of knives in the block and the quality. They are all pretty sturdy and quite thick so if you're looking for thin, fine knives maybe this is not a good choice, but they have been more than good enough for our use and we cook quite a lot.

Reasonable good price of the knives and knife block, liked them because it had a book stand built in. I bought them because my old knives were wearing out and had become blunt. I also bought them because they can go in the dishwasher.

Gave as gifts and they were really happy with the product. Knives are sharp and looks high quality.
