I add to my blue and gold macaws food as well as mixing in her Camille Tea is has been a slow process but it has calmed her down some. I am hoping it will work better soon. Good product. I do recommend you try it for your feather baby.

My budgie lost his buddy. They lived together for four years. And, every day, he was calling out for him. I don’t use this product every day. I only use it when he’s searching to the point, he can’t calm down to play. Sometimes, I take him to Lowe’s around the corner from our house for an excursion which helps stop his calling, but I can’t do that every day. I had to evaluate whether or not that kind of strong emotion is good for him in the long run, versus getting him some kind of help. After I weighed him in grams, I contacted the company for directions on dosage. They recommended dividing the scoop into seven portions for the week. That calculates out to about 53 mg per day - I use a jewelry scale - but I began with a dose of 10-15 mg. It’s enough to help him calm down and become engaged in something other than - finding his friend.

I purchased my first parrot March of 2022. I did lots of reading and knew that they can be loud. I have a Green Cheek Conure, so they aren't as noisy as others. I bought this and started putting it in his food right when I got him. He was only a few months old and we were both getting used to one another. He is very quiet. Although I couldn't tell if that was his personality, he was just well behaved, or the product? I started running out about 2 weeks ago, and have been putting of getting more. Again, really wasn't sure it was working! The past few weeks he's been shouting... I'll be sitting there and he does that incredible LOUD parrot screech! I know not to shout at him to quiet him down, so I just ignored him. At first it was once in awhile. Now it's an issue! He's doing it often and he will continue it for a few minutes! I couldn't figure out what was bringing this on! Then I realized... THE AVIAN CALM! I had enough for a few days. So I put it back in his food! OMG! Silence! Complete and utter SILENCE! Well, he's not silent, but he's not doing that horrible SCREECHING! So, I can tell you without a doubt... This stuff works! It may take awhile, but keep trying it. I see people (and not only this product but anything) that give up way too soon! Some things take time. You may not see an immediate improvement, but if you keep using it, it will work! We, are way to used to instant gratification, that we give up on anything way to soon! Anyways, I believe in this stuff and I will continue to buy it! Also, I only have 1 parrot, I bought it back in April of 2022 and ran out of it Jan 2023! I used it every day! So, it lasts!

Y’all…don’t fall for this. It is just $23 wasted. It absolutely doesn’t work. I have a budgie that constantly screams all day (no matter what) and I’ve been trying every remedy in the book. This was one of the last things I wanted to try and unfortunately it got to this point. He still screams, maybe even more, after eating this stuff. I’ve tried it day after day and he is still a constantly squawking at absolutely everything. Or at nothing at all. Nonstop.

Unfortunately, this product didn't work at all for peach-faced lovebird. He has been getting this product in his food for over a month without absolutely zero change in his relentless hyper and bad behavior. He is free-flighted and gets hours of out-of-cage time per day, so lack of exercise isn't the problem. Others with different kinds of birds seem to have had great luck with this product, but not us. Update: Seller stands behind their product, and offered a full refund. Much appreciated. I highly recommend the seller.

I got this mostly for my cockatiel but I use it for my budgie as well (he's a nervous little guy). My cockatiel is extremely attached to me (and very hormonal), and screams incessantly if I'm not in direct contact with her, to the point where I couldn't even go into the bathroom without her going into a screaming fit within 3 seconds. Any attempt on my part to ignore or otherwise control the screaming would only result in more screaming at a louder volume for a longer duration. I live in a pretty small apartment and I felt that I had run out of options, so I decided to go for it and see if this might help. I ordered this in mid-May and it is now mid-July; given time, this stuff actually works. I really couldn't believe it and I didn't want to get my hopes up too much, but it's been a couple months now and there is no denying that my birds are calmer. I have noticed a marked difference in the way that my cockatiel behaves, and although she still has the occasional tantrum, it is no longer a daily occurrence. She is a lot less anxious about me leaving the room and is less aggressive towards my boyfriend (whom she hates with a passion). I've found that it helps control her hormonal behaviors too; she has been better about taking the hint that I don't want to make bird babies with her. My budgie has been tolerating more human contact than before, and he's also gained the confidence to sing his little heart out even when the room gets quiet. I don't think it's worked quite as well for him, but as I got this mainly for my cockatiel, I'm incredibly satisfied with my purchase and so thankful to have found something that actually works.

I won’t lie, I was ridiculously skeptical. I read the reviews, I researched the product online, even had ChatGPT help me out with breaking down the products ingredients, science behind it, and what avian vets had to say about it… I have a cinnamon turquoise green cheek conure who was used to constantly being out of her cage, to now being in her cage while my partner & I work— (we have a dog as well so we do not allow free flying/wondering if we are not present to fully supervise) This has caused her to make quite the fuss the minute she can’t see either of us. We thought she would adjust by now but nothing we did worked. With all skepticism aside, I decided why not?! It’s not priced at a high margin to where it failing would be catastrophic financially. Day 1- not a single change Day 2- not a single change Day 3- not a single change Day 4- I decided to put it in her water instead of in her food Day 5- her vocalizations are softer, she does not go into panic mode when we leave the room, she seems much more content & at ease, when it’s time to be out she’s more playful & chipper, her whole demeanor has completely changed for the better. I was nervous it would make her drowsy or cause socialization issues, but that’s not the case whatsoever! I am really happy with my purchase & I wish I would have found this much sooner!

I can see a small change in my birds' behaviour. They seem calmer.
