JUAYING 341 Pcs Needle Felting Kit, 40 Colours Wool Roving, 24 Pcs Felting Needles, Hand Spinning DIY Craft

This is a great starter pack. I have recently started needle felting and I was looking for a 5 needle tool and a range of needles when I came across this. Some reviews complain about the amount roving, there are lots of 3grm packets (very small) but the way I see it, I was paying for the needles and accessories and the roving was an added bonus! The needles are not marked with sizes but I think I've worked out that the longest is 36, medium 38 and shortest 40 (40 being the finest needle) You also get small shears to tidy your work with, a dowel to make holes (for eyes etc) and some small pliers which came in really handy for me as I am making birds with wire legs and the pliers are just right for bending and shaping them. You also get some glue sticks, only useful if you have a glue gun, which I do!! and a selection of different sized eyes and noses. There are a few more bits that I have yet to find a purpose for but I'm sure these will come in handy the more experienced I become. There is a small plastic container that I use to keep the tools in and the cardboard box it comes in is great for storing roving. All in all, a good value needle and tools starter kit with a bit of free wool to get you started!! (my tip is use pillow/toy stuffing as your core wool, it's so much cheaper and felts up well, then you can use your good wool for the top layer!!)

As a beginner in felting, this kit has everything you need. All arrived well and of good quality. Very happy with the range of colourful wool to start felting with.

Fantastic product! I bought this a couple of weeks ago along with a beginners felting book. I’m not really a crafty person but received a small kit for Christmas and really enjoyed it so thought id give it another ago and was absolutely over the moon with what I received - especially for the price! Lots of fantastic tools and a cute box to store it all in. The felt itself was easy to use, good quality and came with a huge variety of colours. My only criticism would be that you only get a small amount of each colour felt where as In the picture it displays larger rolls of felt. But for the price I couldn’t complain, I made multicolour animals as I didn’t have enough of each colour but I have made a giraffe, elephant, panda and frog and still have lots of felt left! Would recommend definitely- you can always buy more felt :)

Absolutely brilliant starter kit. I kept seeing needle felt animals and really wanted to give it a try. This set is great value for money, plenty of soft coloured wool, and all the tools you need. It's well packed in a cardboard box, which I have been reusing :) Think my only pet peeve is the glue sticks. Very annoying to use, especially trying to push tiny little eyes into a stiff ball of cotton (even when you push a hole in it), it seems to dry extremely quick, and I never managed to get the eyes/noses to stick. I've just been using some cheap glue I got a while ago, works a charm. Plenty of spare needles, this is likely due to how fragile they can be, so atleast if you're a bit heavy handed, there always spares to keep you going. Definitely my new favourite hobby and would recommend this kit to anyone wanting to try needle felting 👍

Brilliant kit. Really good selection of tools and colours of wool. Good that it includes lots of eyes and noses for those that want to make little felt creatures. The instruction book isn’t the best, but to be honest, I think that for any beginner turning to online video tutorials would be the best start anyway so the booklet isn’t essential

This felting kit is great for beginners. What I really like about this kit, is that it has everything you require to start your felting hobby. All the instruments you need, step by step easy instruction booklet, explaining all the different tools in detail and what they are used for. There are plenty of lovely coloured wool, all colours you could imagine. The kit comes in a container so you won't lose any of your tools. Also very safe to use.

Tools are great. Very very small amounts of wool.
